This meditation is for daily blessings I give and receive.
Begin by taking several long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Breathing in through your nose,
Breathing out through your mouth,
Letting your body melt into the chair or floor each time you exhale.
Breathing in calming,
Peaceful energy,
And breathing out any stress,
Worries,
Or thoughts.
Placing a hand against your diaphragm,
Taking a deep breath in,
And then slowly hold it out,
Releasing any tension.
Do this a few times,
Breathing in deeply and slowly,
Focusing on the natural movement of your breath in and out,
Embracing the stillness of just sitting and being.
Nowhere for you to go,
Nothing to change or decide or worry about,
Allow yourself to be present here and now,
Feeling the breath running through you moment by moment.
As you say,
Peace to my mind,
Let all my thoughts be still.
Breathing naturally,
I invite you to bring your awareness to your eyes,
To create stillness of the mind by watching and waiting for the next thought.
As you keep watch,
And you give the mind presence,
It will gently quiet down,
Even if just for an instant.
As you say,
Peace to my mind,
Let my thoughts be still,
Returning home to your true self beyond your thoughts,
Connecting to the spirit within you,
The love that you are,
Continuing to feel the breath against your hand as it moves in and out,
Expands and contracts at your diaphragm.
As you keep watching and waiting for the next thought,
Keep the mind clear the best you can.
Peace to my mind,
Let all my thoughts be still.
The Course in Miracles Lesson 231 says,
There is nothing else but God's love that I could ever really want to find.
Let me remember,
As I sit in the stillness and the quiet of my mind,
That all I seek is the love and peace of God.
If your mind has wandered off into thoughts,
Gently return to your breath,
To the spirit breathing through you,
Watching and waiting for the next thought,
Connecting to that place beyond thoughts,
The stillness of who you really are.
In this place I know peace is possible and that God's will for me and everyone is that peace and perfect happiness.
All things are given me,
Says the Course.
To give and receive are one in truth.
I will receive what I am giving now.
So I invite you to repeat these prayers or blessings after I say each one,
And then pause expecting to receive the gift that you give to others.
To everyone I offer quiet.
To everyone I offer peace of mind.
To everyone I offer gentleness.
To everyone I offer myself.
To everyone I offer comfort and ease.
To everyone I offer forgiveness.
To everyone I offer healing.
To everyone I offer the peace of God.
To everyone I offer my acceptance and compassion.
To everyone I offer love.
To everyone I offer joy.
Take a moment to receive these gifts of quiet and peace,
Comfort and ease,
Forgiveness,
Acceptance,
Joy and love.
Feel yourself receiving those things,
Remembering that all is given to you.
Now,
Think of someone that you would like to offer peace or healing to.
Bring them to your mind's eye or imagine them in your heart and just say,
I offer you peace of mind.
I offer you joy.
I offer you love.
I offer you healing.
And if there's another person you could do the same with,
Go right ahead and don't forget to include yourself.
As you say,
I offer you peace,
I offer you joy,
I offer you love,
I offer you healing.
You are healed when you give healing.
You accomplish forgiveness in yourself when you forgive others.
To give is how to recognize you have received because all is one.
We are one with our brothers and sisters.
So I give the miracles I have received as I extend light out to all those I see in my day or in my prayers.
I offer miracles to everyone.
I offer miracles to myself.
Thank you,
Thank you God for the miracles you've given me and that I may remember to give them out,
Give them away.
Offer them to others.
I am so,
So blessed.
Even when I don't think I am being blessed,
I know in truth that I am.
