Transcript

This meditation invites you to return to a sense of balance,

To deepen your connection to the world surrounding you and to bring a greater sense of vitality and gratitude.

Take a moment to find a comfortable seat,

Or if it feels most appropriate at this moment in time,

Coming to lay down.

Wherever you have chosen,

Ensuring the spine is long and allow the body to soften and settle as you gently close your eyes.

Without needing to change anything,

Begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath.

Now sense the ground,

Earth beneath you,

Solid and supportive.

Feeling your connection to the land,

To the ground.

Now bringing awareness to the trees,

The plants and the air around you.

Perhaps imagining yourself surrounded by nature,

A lush forest filled with trees and plants and a space that feels deeply nourishing to you.

Here you can begin to feel and experience the exchange of prana,

Of life force energy between you and the natural world surrounding you.

As you inhale,

Imagine drawing in fresh,

Life-giving prana provided by the trees,

Rich in oxygen and vitality.

As you exhale,

You offer your breath back,

The trees and the plants receiving the gift of your breath.

As you breathe in fresh prana,

The trees breathe out.

As you exhale,

The trees breathe in.

Feel this beautiful exchange,

This effortless cycle of giving and receiving.

This pulse and flow of exchanging prana,

Life force.

Sense that prana is not just in your breath,

But moving through your entire being.

Connected to something greater,

A vast web of life in harmony and connection with nature.

Let yourself rest in this awareness,

Absorbing the nourishment of this connection.

Feel the light of gratitude in your heart and every single cell of your being.

Gradually bring awareness back to your body,

Noticing the ground beneath you,

The temperature of the air on your skin.

Taking one more moment of deep gratitude for this connection.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of connection into the rest of your day.

Namaste.
