This is a meditation to guide you back towards an inner sense of radiance and vitality.
Take a moment to find a comfortable seat,
To find length in your spine,
To ground down through your connection to your seat or the earth beneath you.
Become aware of your breath.
As the breath flows in and out of the body,
Let your awareness move to your heart.
Allow the eyes to close.
Continue to be aware of the breath as it comes in and out,
Expanding in the chest and opening the lungs as you breathe in.
Follow the breath down to your solar plexus,
Sensing the ribs as they expand.
And begin to intuitively feel,
Sense or see a golden flame resting at the solar plexus.
This radiant,
Golden,
Shining light quietly residing at the solar plexus.
Simply watching,
Sensing,
Feeling this golden flame.
As you next breathe in,
Allow this flame to move upwards through your body to the heart.
Let that small,
Radiant flame rest within the center of your heart,
Bringing a sense of peacefulness.
As you next inhale,
Begin to move this flame up through the neck,
Up into the forehead and behind your eyebrows.
Let it shine its soft,
Golden light,
Bringing a deep stillness to the mind.
Now letting that flame separate and split into two,
Traveling down into each of your eyes.
Feel,
Sense your eyes becoming warmed and softened by the radiance of these two gentle flames,
Allowing you to see all goodness around you more clearly.
Now let these two flames travel outwards into each of your ears,
Pausing in the stillness as you discover that your ears are capable of hearing great solutions,
Truly listening and tuning in to yourself and your surroundings.
Next let these two flames travel to the nostrils,
Bringing a soothing calmness and ease to your breath.
Now let those two flames once again join together and move to your mouth.
Allow the flame to bring warmth and an inner smile,
Resolving to use your words to empower and uplift.
Now let the flame travel down the neck once more and separate into two flames that move out through your shoulders and down each of your arms.
The soft,
Golden radiance of the flames easing any tension in your shoulders and neck.
Now bring the flames back up your arms and join together at the heart,
Glowing its warm radiant light,
Radiating into your lungs.
Moving downwards once more,
Let the flame rest in the middle of your abdomen where all the muscles,
The digestive organs can relax,
Silent and still,
Absorbed in the glowing radiance and allowing the flame to move down into your pelvis.
See,
Sense,
Feel this healing light in the space of the pelvis,
Bringing with it a sense of safety and security.
Now let the flames separate and travel down each leg,
Softening the muscles at the thighs,
Taking a moment to pause at the knees.
Blow down,
Filling the feet with strength and radiance.
Now returning the flames back to your heart,
Allowing that single flame to glow quietly.
Focus only on the still glow that surrounds the flame,
Surrounds your heart.
And for a few moments,
Feel too that you are a radiant flame.
Become aware of your body sitting here.
This inner radiance glowing from your center to the edges of your skin and beyond.
In your own time,
Gently opening your eyes with a renewed sense of presence,
Radiance and connection.
