Welcome.
Let's take a nice,
Slow,
Easy breath in.
And then just let it go.
Let's do that again together.
Take a nice easy breath in.
And then just let it go There's nothing else you need to do now.
Simply allow yourself to be here.
Feel yourself being supported,
Whether you're laying down or sitting down.
Notice the support beneath your body.
And how you don't have to hold yourself up.
The chair is doing its job or the floor or the couch.
Gravity is doing what gravity has always done,
Supporting you.
Holding you.
And you can just allow yourself.
To trust that support.
Just a little more with each breath.
And as you settle into the support beneath you.
You may begin to notice that your body already begins to let go and rest.
It knows how to soften.
It knows how to rest.
It knows how to renew itself.
And you don't have to make relaxation happen.
Feel the gentle rhythm of your breathing.
Each inhale arrives effortlessly.
And each exhale is a release,
A letting go.
And as you continue to breathe.
You may begin to wonder.
What will it feel like?
To let this breath carry away.
Just a little bit more of any unnecessary efforting.
Simply because breathing out by its very nature is releasing.
And breathing in by its very nature.
Is receiving.
A receiving of fresh oxygen.
Fresh energy,
Fresh possibility.
And breathing out is clearing,
Letting go.
Releasing what you no longer need.
Each inhale is a gentle renewing.
Each exhale,
A full clearing.
Without effort,
Without straining.
Your body knows how to release.
And how to receive what it most needs.
You might notice that you've softened or closed your eyes and that's just wonderful.
You might notice how the muscles around your eyes then are softening.
Maybe you've noticed a softening in your jaw.
Your shoulders.
Or somewhere else entirely.
Your body knows where to begin.
And you can let your body release and soften.
As it knows how to do.
And as one area softens.
Another area may begin to soften too.
Relaxing,
Trusting your body's intelligence,
Going at your own pace,
Feeling now the places your body already is releasing and also already being renewed.
Right now in this moment,
There's nothing you are responsible for or you have to hold together.
Nothing you have to manage.
You are here giving yourself this gift of coming back home to yourself.
Simply being a human being who is breathing.
Resting.
And being supported.
And perhaps there's something surprisingly nourishing.
About allowing yourself.
To experience that fully.
And with every easy inhale,
You may notice a quiet sense of renewal.
As though each breath carries exactly what your body needs.
Freshness.
Vitality.
Years.
One breath at a time.
One simple moment.
Giving rise to the next.
And as you continue breathing,
You may begin to notice that your breathing all on its own.
You don't have to think about breathing.
Your body has always known how.
And maybe there is something comforting.
But remembering the quiet intelligence of your body's innate wisdom.
That there are many things your body just knows without you having to tell it or make it happen.
Knows how to breathe.
How to repair.
To digest.
To restore.
Your body knows how to find its way back.
Toward balance.
And even now,
With every moment.
This happens without any effort.
Without asking anything from you.
With such ease.
You may begin to wonder what it feels like.
To do absolutely nothing.
Just for this moment.
Just allowing yourself.
To rest here.
And as your body settles even more.
You may begin to notice.
The difference between holding and being held.
Holding requires some effort.
Being held?
This is an experience of allowing.
So for these next few breaths.
There's nothing to hold,
Nothing to carry.
You can just allow yourself to receive support.
And if you feel like you're carrying anything,
Just let that move through.
Let yourself be held.
And as you do.
Notice how a deeper relaxation finds you.
And with this relaxation,
This deeper relaxation.
You may begin to notice small changes are taking place in you.
Perhaps your breathing feels easier.
Perhaps your face has softened.
Perhaps your chest and your belly have softened.
Maybe your body feels warmer.
Or even cooler.
Or heavier or lighter.
Whatever it is,
Noticing and feeling.
These slight changes.
Now every experience is welcome.
Because your unconscious mind is already taking in exactly what it needs.
Your body is already making shifts,
Knowing what it needs.
In the exact way that serves you best.
Imagine now your body receiving what nourishes life.
Fresh oxygen.
Fresh energy.
Renewed possibility.
Receiving.
And releasing.
Receiving and releasing.
And you may discover.
.
.
That with each passing moment,
Your body is becoming just a little more spacious.
Less constricted.
As though there is more room inside of you.
More room for ease.
More room for breath.
More room for yourself.
And from that spaciousness.
Something gently begins to awaken.
It may not be excitement,
It's not urgency,
Just simply aliveness.
Steady.
Gentle.
Simple aliveness.
That has always been here.
Waiting beneath the tension,
The effort.
It's not something you create,
Just something you uncover within you.
Take a moment now.
To simply enjoy this feeling.
Just allowing yourself to become familiar with it.
Because the more familiar this feeling of aliveness becomes.
The more naturally your mind and body remember the way back to it.
To feeling it again.
And again.
With surprising ease.
And perhaps this sense of gentle aliveness from within you.
Becomes your new way of arriving home.
Of being yourself.
Feel how nourished you are right now,
How renewed,
How settled.
And refreshed.
And now you can go into anything that is next.
With a renewed sense.
Of gentle,
Steady,
Even grounded aliveness.
With more vitality.
Ease.
And grace.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
Thanks for watching!
