Welcome,

I'm Lisa McCrowen.

Today I will guide you through a lovely practice of affirmations to help you settle your nervous system and soul so you can drift off to sleep or maybe you use this as a soulful break giving yourself space to come back home to you to be rejuvenated and restored.

You might softly repeat these affirmations after me or just allow the words and the energy of these mantras to wash over you,

Lulling you into sleep or into relaxation.

You might experience these as blessings,

Carrying the energy of love and compassion that you truly deserve.

Let's begin by getting comfortable.

You might stretch or move your body.

You might shake a little bit.

The right arm,

The left arm,

The right leg,

The left leg.

Notice if you need anything else in order to be here.

Another blanket,

Socks,

Softer lighting or the lights off and then eventually come to lying down and coming into stillness.

You might soften or close your eyes and let yourself arrive in this posture,

Feeling the support of the couch or the bed that you're lying on.

Allow yourself to feel into that support.

Feel your breath flowing in and out.

Invite your muscles to soften and give in to gravity.

Allow your bones to settle and feel your whole body safely settling.

I'll repeat the affirmation two times and then I'll pause.

You can repeat the affirmation to yourself or in silence or just allow the blessings to wash over you.
