Welcome to this Re-Grounding,

5-Minute Guided Meditation where we are going to stop the thoughts of the day and get better control over the emotions that we're feeling that can often pull us into rabbit holes unnecessarily.
This Re-Grounding and Rebooting Guided Meditation is essentially your invitation to slow down your mind,
To hit the pause button,
And to remember what's truly important.
Let's take this moment now to take a deep breath in,
To hold it,
And to exhale.
And on the exhale,
Deliberately ask your shoulders to release any negative tension they may have been holding onto.
The body is a reservoir for all negative emotion and stress.
It is not the body's fault that it carries the tension of worrisome thoughts,
Anxiety of the past,
And worries of the future.
For this reason,
It is essential to honor the body with a few pauses throughout the day to release the body of any unnecessary negative emotions.
We do this by calming the mind,
By becoming still,
By looking within.
Again,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and honor the air that fills your lungs.
And on the exhale,
Feel gratitude for the ability to relieve this tension from your body now.
Take a moment now to do a quick body scan from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
From the top of your head,
Notice any tension in your face,
In your jaw,
Around your lips,
In your neck,
Shoulders,
Solar plexus,
Arms,
Hip area,
Abdomen,
Upper legs,
Lower legs,
And your feet.
Ask that all tension leave your body now and in one awareness,
Imagine that all negative thinking and worrisome thoughts are like clouds that you're observing through a window.
And as the clouds move past your field of vision,
Any pent-up negative emotion also leaves your body now.
Take a moment now to recognize that you are not your thoughts.
You are the observer of your thoughts,
And you,
At any time,
Can say to your thoughts,
Move,
And they will move.
Take a moment now to recognize that you are not your emotions.
Emotions are indicators,
And you have the power to observe them and to recognize that you are not them.
You have the power,
Through your mind,
To release them,
To acknowledge them,
And to let them go.
Let's take a moment now to acknowledge any worrisome thoughts,
Any tension,
Any perfectionism,
Any self-criticism,
Any self-doubt,
Any anxiety over the past and the future.
Let's take a moment and ask all of that to leave us now.
Bring your awareness to your heart space and feel gratitude for the heart that has been beating in the center of your chest since before you were born.
Feel gratitude for the ability to flow your focus,
To observe your thought,
And to remind yourself that you are not your thoughts,
Nor your emotions.
Feel your body ease into the state of non-resistance.
Feel the abundance of this moment and the power of stilling your mind.
