Welcome to this inner alchemy meditation to support you on your journey through menopause and beyond.
Menopause can be a journey of self-discovery,
Healing and profound personal transformation.
It is an invitation to awaken a state of inner alchemy transmuting your personal lead,
Your shadow parts such as negative emotions,
Fear,
Trauma,
Limiting beliefs into your personal gold,
Awareness,
Wisdom,
Emotional sovereignty.
This process requires shifting from a state of automatic reactions to conscious action by engaging with your internal energetic physiological and psychological state.
When you create rituals that feel sacred you embark on a journey of self-realization,
Of understanding who you are and self-actualization,
Doing and becoming who you want to be.
As I guide you through this practice allow each breath to take you deeper into your instinctual nature,
The one who knows.
She is waiting to be reawakened.
Let's begin by grounding and settling.
If you're comfortable as you are there is no need to move or feel free to pause and take a moment to get settled.
To help you settle begin observing your breath.
Bringing the breath down into the belly and the lower ribcage.
Deep diaphragmatic breathing.
As you breathe in drawing prana,
Life force energy into your whole body and as you exhale releasing any tension or resistance.
Feel the gentle movement through your ribcage and drawing in on your breath out.
Notice where your body accommodates your breath and as you breathe in and out through your nose your body enters a state of relaxation.
Opening a gateway of deep connection with your inner world.
Your inner world is your haven,
A sacred space that is yours where the journey of transformation begins to unfold.
Visualize a sphere of healing light above the crown of your head,
Radiant and warm.
Breathe in and guide this light from the crown of your head to the base of your spine and breathe out and guide the light from the base of your spine up to the crown of your head.
With each breath this healing light expands and flows through your whole being.
Where you notice tension,
Pain or awareness of your shadow parts gently focus more light and attention on those parts that wish to be seen and bathe them in healing energy.
Imagine the sphere of light gently soothing your physical form,
The outer layer of your being,
Preparing your mind to connect with your internal world.
I'm going to take you through five different phases.
Phase one is witness.
Within this sacred space open yourself to becoming a silent witness to your inner world,
Observing thoughts,
Sensations without judgment.
If you encounter areas of discomfort or resistance gently ask what do you want me to know?
What do you need from me?
Your instinctual nature holds these answers but she's used to being suppressed and overridden by external influences,
Experiences and stories created over a lifetime.
Be present with openness and curiosity.
Honor the wisdom your body and mind are willing to share.
Instead of judgment or frustration offer words of encouragement and kindness.
Welcome the parts that are waiting to be heard.
Phase two,
Harmony.
Being in harmony with the needs of yourself is a process of understanding your emotions,
Thoughts and sensations.
This is interoception.
I invite you to visualize yourself now surrounded by a column of healing light radiant with compassion and love.
This protective light envelops you with loving-kindness,
A reminder that all aspects of your being are worthy of love.
Notice if there are barriers to receiving this love.
Becoming aware of these barriers is part of the journey.
Without judgment be aware of any resistance that is showing up in your body and allow the barriers to dissolve under the gaze of loving-kindness.
If the resistance feels unmovable observe it as a messenger guiding you to deeper understanding and acceptance.
Hold yourself gently as you move through this process.
Phase three,
Heart orientation.
When you orient yourself with your heart's desires and needs through presence and compassionate observation you begin to access higher states of consciousness and start to transmute the lower heavier energies such as anger and fear into higher frequencies such as compassion and resilience.
Perhaps say internally,
I recognize these lower energies are raw materials for growth and alignment with my divine wisdom.
Acknowledging and accepting these parts creates space for shifts to happen.
Allow your inner sphere of healing light to gently draw out of the shadows the parts to be transformed and integrated.
When we accept these shadow parts rather than deny them we encourage wholeness and self-realization.
Phase four,
Trust the process.
From this heart-led space ask your inner guide,
The one who knows,
How can I support my process of transformation?
The response may be taking action whether it is movement or stillness.
It may be saying yes or saying no.
Perhaps your guide is quiet for now and you may receive insight later today or over the next few days.
I invite you to look for signs,
To look for messages from your instinctual nature and trust she is guiding you along the right path towards your heart's desires.
Phase five,
Deep self-regard.
Holding yourself with deep regard involves cultivating a profound unconditional sense of self-worth,
Respect and compassion regardless of your imperfections,
Mistakes or external circumstances.
My invitation is to hold yourself with tenderness.
Allow the healing light surrounding you and within you to extend love to any parts or insights that have arisen.
We'll finish with Metta,
A loving kindness meditation where you repeat phrases with intention.
Today we're going to direct them towards your instinctual nature,
Your inner guide and also towards yourself and all aspects of your being.
May my inner guide be filled with loving kindness.
May they be free from suffering.
May they be well in body and mind.
May they be at ease and happy.
May I be filled with loving kindness.
May I be free from suffering.
May I be well in body and mind.
May I be at ease and happy.
Imagine your inner guide and all your parts dissolve into light.
On your next inhale breathe light into your heart holding gently the one who knows within your sacred space.
Trust in her wisdom.
Embrace these blessings in your heart and repeat this practice as often as necessary to support your inner alchemy journey of empowerment and transformation.
It's now time to come back.
Breathe gently into your whole being.
If it feels good stretch your whole body and return to awareness,
Conscious awareness as you come back.
Remember that your instinctual nature,
Insights and energies are always with you.
Always just a breath away with purposeful intention.
You have the power to direct your energies and integrate the parts that desire to be seen and held so you can live from a place of clarity and love.
