Hello,
I'm Linda G.
Robert.
And in this moment,
There is nothing you need to plan,
Fix,
Or decide.
This is simply a moment to pause.
It's a moment to reconnect with yourself and remember that travel and life.
Are meant to be experienced,
Not rushed through in your mind.
So let's begin by arriving here.
Find yourself a comfortable position.
And gently close your eyes if you're comfortable in doing so.
That feels right for you.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long steady exhale.
Through your mouth.
And again,
A slow inhale.
Noticing your chest and your belly soften slightly.
And exhale.
Letting the weight of the day move downward.
One more time.
A nice inhale.
And now as you exhale,
A sigh.
Ugh.
That's right.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your face soften even more.
Nothing is required of you.
In this moment.
Now bring your attention inward.
You might notice thoughts about travel.
Or plans.
Or maybe you're noticing uncertainty.
Or maybe you're noticing things that you haven't figured out yet.
In terms of your next trip.
And that is okay.
You don't need to push them away.
Just imagine that each thought is a passing cloud in the sky.
It comes.
It moves.
It leaves.
And you are the sky steady.
Underneath it all.
Nothing needs to be solved in this very moment.
Just breathe.
Clouds are passing by.
Now we'll invite a little lightness into the body.
Nothing forced or nothing loud.
Just soft.
And very placeful.
Take a gentle breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let out a small,
Easy laugh.
Let's try that again inhaling.
And as you're exhaling,
A small,
Easy laugh.
Notice how it feels in your chest.
Even if it's very subtle.
There's nothing to do perfectly here.
Just allowing a small moment of release.
Let's try it again.
Breathing in.
And as you're exhaling a small gentle laugh.
And notice.
Nothing outside you has changed.
But something inside you.
May feel just a little lighter.
Now,
Imagine yourself stepping into this scene.
This traveling scene.
It doesn't matter where.
You are.
It could be a train station.
Airport.
Maybe a quiet street in a new place.
In a new city.
You are there.
You're not rushing.
You are very present in that new place.
You notice the colors.
You notice movement.
You notice sounds.
But they don't overwhelm you.
You are observing life.
Not absorbing the stress of it.
And with each step you take,
You feel something steady growing inside you.
Confidence that forces everything to be perfect.
But a calm presence.
A quiet sense of I can move through this.
I can do this.
We're going to spend a few more seconds here as you're walking in this new environment.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Now gently bring your attention back.
Feel your breath again.
Feel your body supported where you are right now.
Feel your feet.
Or your hands rest.
And take one slow breath in.
And a long exhale out.
In your own time.
You can remind yourself of.
I don't need to rush my life or my travel or my trips.
I can move at my own pace.
And when you're ready.
Open your eyes gently.
If this practice supported you.
You are welcome to return to it anytime you need a pause or a reset or a moment of calm.
Before travel.
For a trip.
Or before making a decision about a trip.
You're always welcome here.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
