Welcome.
This is your daily guided psycho check-in.
A moment to pause,
Turn inward and listen to your body.
When you begin to track how you feel throughout your cycle,
You start to see patterns.
You begin to understand your energy,
Your emotions and your needs on a more loving,
Aligned way.
There's nothing to fix here.
This is simply a space to notice.
Before we begin,
Take a moment to get something you can use to track your observations.
A notebook,
Your phone or a tracking app.
If you'd like,

First,
Note down where you are in your cycle today,
What day are you on.
The first day of your cycle is the first day of your bleed,
So count from there.
But if you're not sure,
That's completely okay too.
You can simply write down today's date.
And now find a comfortable seated position.
Let your body be supported and start to gently look around the space you're in.
Allow yourself to arrive,
Take your time.
Noticing a few things around you,
Maybe land your eyes on an object that you love or just find a colour that suits you.
And when you're ready,
Softly close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and breathe out through the mouth.
Two more,
Breathing in deeply and exhale.
Last one,
Deep inhale.
Very gently blink your eyes open,
But stay connected with your breath and your inner world.
Turn your attention inward and ask yourself the following questions.
And as we go along with them,
I will give you some time to write down your answers.
You can be as detailed as you like,
But in the beginning a few words are more than enough.
So let's get started.
How is your mood today?
How is your energy?
How do you feel emotionally?
How does your body feel?
Are there any sensations or symptoms present?
How is your appetite today?
What kind of foods do you crave?
How social were you today?
Do you crave interaction or would you rather be alone?
And finally,
Is there anything more you would like to note from your day?
When you're ready,
Take a soft breath in and exhale slowly.
Place one hand on your heart and the other hand on your belly.
Embrace yourself gently.
Whatever you're experiencing today is valid.
Say to yourself,
I accept myself as I am today.
Your body,
Your energy,
Your mood is allowed to change and you are allowed to meet yourself with kindness through it all.
Let's take three deep inhales and complete exhales together before we close.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling yourself with new energy.
And exhale,
Letting go of everything that you no longer want to bring with you.
Inhale again,
Feel as your chest rises.
And exhale and let your body soften.
Last one,
Deep inhale and complete exhale.
Take a few more moments to allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Checking in with your cycle is a simple habit that becomes more powerful over time.
You might choose to return to this practice each day and slowly begin to notice your patterns.
