This is an invitation to connect with your maiden archetype,
With your younger self,
The one who just had her first bleed,
The one who is searching for herself,
Looking for answers,
The one who maybe didn't have guidance from anyone,
The one who needed that guidance to show her the way,
To show that she's understood,
She's held and protected.
Let's take a couple of deep breaths in through the nose and out the mouth,
In and out.
Inhale.
If you feel like,
Please feel free to continue with these long inhales and deep exhales.
And just feel your body drop with every exhale a little bit more.
Feel how you get more relaxed with every exhale.
And just gently start to connect with your breath and through your breath with your body.
Feel your chest rising with every inhale.
Feel how it falls with every exhale.
Take your time.
If you haven't yet,
I invite you to close your eyes and go inward to your own world,
To your own body and start connecting with her.
Start connecting with her wisdom and with all the memories she's holding.
If your mind starts to wander,
Just remember that it's okay and you can come back to your breath anytime.
It's always there to anchor you,
To keep you safe.
Keep breathing deeply.
And once you feel like you arrive to your body,
I invite you to imagine that you're leaving your body.
Just where you are,
Where you're sitting,
Where you're lying down.
Just imagine leaving the body to rest there.
And you slowly stand up.
And you start walking toward the closest closed door,
Wherever it is in your home.
Maybe the door of your bedroom,
Maybe the entrance door.
And just imagine walking there,
Gently and slowly.
And when you approach that door,
Put your hand on the handle and slowly start to open it.
And what you see when you open this door is a beautiful garden.
Lush green with all the plants and flowers that you love.
Slowly start to walk around.
Maybe smell some nice flowers.
Maybe touch some plants,
Their leaves.
And keep breathing deeply through the nose and out the nose.
Take a couple of conscious breaths.
After looking around in this beautiful garden,
A path appears in front of you.
Laden with pebbles.
And you start walking on it,
Toward another door.
Slowly leave this garden behind you and approach that other door.
And open it.
When you go through that door,
A beautiful field appears in front of you.
And a small hill with a beautiful big tree.
The tree looks like it's centuries old.
Start walking on that path that leads to this beautiful tree.
Maybe touch the grass and some flowers on your way there.
And feel that nature is holding you really,
Really gently.
And at the same time,
It's grounding to be here.
As you come closer to the tree,
You see that your younger self is waiting for you there.
She's really looking forward to meet you.
To hug you.
To talk to you.
To connect with you.
First,
Just have a look at her from the distance.
Remember her.
And come closer to her,
Step by step.
And when you arrive to the tree,
You too meet there.
Look at her face.
Look at her hair.
Look at her and remember that she is you in your maidenhood.
Notice how old she is.
What she looks like.
And if you feel like,
Offer her a warm hug.
Or a caress on her face,
On her hair.
Show her some love.
Maybe you want to sit down together at the tree.
Maybe you want to hold her.
Remember how it was for you to go through your first bleed.
What was your experience like?
Do you remember that day it happened?
Did you have anyone to connect with,
To share your experience with?
What questions did you have at that time?
She has these questions.
She looks to you for guidance.
And for understanding,
Compassion.
What does she want to ask you?
Let her ask her questions.
Let her open up about what she's going through.
Let her take her time.
And offer your support.
Answer her questions.
And tell her anything that you would want it to know.
Give yourself all the answers.
All the guidance that you may not had at the time.
And notice what she needs.
Maybe it's your words.
Maybe it's physical connection.
A closeness with you.
It's okay to be vulnerable.
You're supporting yourself.
You show unconditional love to yourself.
You always deserve this love.
You deserve to be understood,
To be held,
To be protected and to be safe.
Take your time together.
And whatever comes up,
Let it.
Keep breathing.
And then ask her one more time.
Is there anything you need?
Is there anything else you want to know?
Is there any way I can support you?
And let her answer.
Then hold her one more time.
Gently and lovingly.
And start to say goodbye to her for now.
She's always going to be here.
Living in you.
And you're always going to be here for her.
To love her.
To connect with her.
It's a beautiful bond that you share.
You can continue to grow together.
And when you said goodbye,
You continue your journey back toward the garden door.
How are you feeling now as you walk toward that door?
What feelings came up meeting your younger self?
How do you feel in your body?
You arrive to the door to the garden and you open it.
And you step back to this safe place,
To this beautiful garden.
Where it's only you.
Here it's safe to feel all the feelings.
All the emotions.
It's safe to process whatever came up.
Maybe you experienced something really,
Really beautiful.
And maybe at the same time,
Now you feel anger or rage.
Because maybe things haven't happened in the way that they should have.
And it's okay.
It's also okay to feel these feelings.
Take a little while to process all the emotions.
Name the feelings you have right now.
And keep breathing deeply.
Maybe start to look around.
And also connect with nature.
With the beautiful flowers in this garden around you.
You are safe.
You are loved.
And when you're ready,
Start to walk towards the first door.
For now,
Leave this garden behind you.
But remember it as a safe place where you can process all your feelings.
Where you're protected and loved.
Open the first door and slowly walk toward your body.
Wherever you're sitting or lying down.
And lovingly,
Gently re-enter your body.
Start to feel the ground beneath you.
Let's take a couple of conscious deep breaths together.
Again,
Through the nose,
Inhale.
And exhale out the mouth.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Come back to your normal breathing.
And gently start to move your hand around.
Maybe touching your legs,
Your knees.
Touching the opposite hand.
Just feeling your body.
Acknowledging that you're here.
Maybe you want to touch your face.
You can put your hands over your eyes.
And when you're ready,
Remove your hands and open your eyes.
Welcome back.
