Allow your breath to become steady and even and begin to relax your body.
This is your time to rest.
Allow yourself to relax completely.
Shift your awareness to your body as a whole,
Noticing any areas of discomfort.
As you inhale,
Imagine sending a warm,
Healing light to these areas,
Soothing and releasing any tension.
As you exhale,
Feel any stress or worry leave your body,
Allowing you to sink deeper into relaxation.
Locate yourself in a peaceful,
Calm place.
It could be a beautiful beach,
A quiet forest or any place where you feel safe and at ease.
Feel the energy of this wonderful place.
What colors do you see?
What sounds can you hear?
See yourself from the outside.
You are happy here.
You are in peace.
You are surrounded by love and support.
And you are empowered to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.
Feel the tension melting away from your body,
As you sink deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Breathe in deeply.
And as you exhale,
Release all the negative thoughts that are weighing you down.
You are free to let go of the past and embrace the present moment.
As you begin to drift into a deep,
Restful sleep,
Remember that you are safe and protected.
