Breathing deeply,

And saying to yourself,

This is a moment of suffering.

All beings suffer,

May I be well.

I'm feeling the hand on the heart,

Feeling the rise and fall of the chest,

Perhaps noticing the heartbeat,

And repeating again to yourself,

This is a moment of suffering.

All beings suffer,

May I be well.

Taking another deep breath,

Lowering the hand,

And stepping back into your day.
