Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down,

Allowing your hands to rest gently.

Let your eyes soften or close completely.

Take a long,

Slow inhale through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.

Again,

In and out.

Allow your body to soften.

Allow your breath to guide you into stillness.

This is your moment to begin your fast with calm,

Clarity,

And care.

Let's start by gently reminding yourself.

You are safe.

You are in control.

You are supported.

Fasting is no punishment.

It's not deprivation.

It's a gift to your body,

A chance to rest,

Reset,

And renew.

With each breath,

Settle deeper into the knowing that this fast is not about willpower.

It's about listening.

Listening to your body,

To your deeper needs,

To your energy.

Let's set your intention now.

Silently,

I begin this fast with peace.
