Hello my name is Liana and welcome to your Manipura Chakra meditation.
Sit in a comfortable position.
You can sit on a cushion,
A folded blanket or on a chair.
Make sure your spine is long but not rigid so you can relax your hips and your pelvis.
Relax your shoulders and when you're ready close your eyes.
Soften the belly to allow the breath to move freely expanding the belly as you inhale and then there is a gentle retraction as you exhale.
Just notice the natural movement in your belly as you breathe.
You feel more space,
Openness as you breathe in the belly relaxes and expands and as you breathe out you feel a gentle retraction,
A gentle massage in your organs.
The third chakra is located above the navel around our solar plexus.
This chakra governs our willpower,
Our inner strength,
Our ability to be an individual respecting our own needs,
Desires and the element of this chakra is fire.
Fire represents transformation,
Transmutation and also fire helps us to digest the food we eat but also our emotions,
Thoughts and energy.
So we are going to contemplate this powerful element,
The fire.
So with your eyes closed gently start to bring the image of fire.
It can be as simple as a candle's flame or a fire pit and you can actually if you like light a candle and gaze upon this image.
Whether you have a physical fire in front of you or if you have the image in your mind's eyes you don't need to do anything just relax yourself and relax your attention on that image,
The movement,
The shape,
The color.
Allow yourself to be completely immersed,
Connected with this image.
And with your intention bring this image right onto the belly,
Below your chest and above your navel.
Visualize this beautiful yellow orange flame doing its magic right on your solar plexus.
Be open to receive all the qualities of transformation,
Transmutation,
Sense of inner strength and inner power.
Now gently take a deep breath in,
Allow the belly to expand,
Allow this fire to expand,
And as you breathe out allow the belly to gently retract as you let go of the image,
Let go of this fire.
Stay connected with yourself,
With your body,
With your breath for a few more seconds.
Take a deep breath in,
Bring your hands together in front of your heart space honoring your inner power.
Namaste.
