Being the self which one truly is means embracing your unique identity and using it to create a fulfilling life. Allow yourself to be vulnerable and honest with yourself, and practice self-compassion and love. You are worthy and deserving of acceptance, just as you are.

Welcome to this guided meditation on being the self who you truly are.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.

Take a deep breath in,

Holding it for a few seconds and then exhale slowly.

Allow your body to relax,

Sinking deeper into your position.

As you continue to breathe deeply and slowly,

Bring your attention to the present moment.

Notice any thoughts or feelings that come up without judgment.

Simply observe them and let them pass.

Now bring your attention to your sense of self.

Who are you?

What qualities define you?

Take a moment to reflect on your values,

Beliefs and experiences that make you unique.

As you reflect,

Notice any emotions that arise.

If you feel any discomfort or resistance,

Simply observe it without judgment.

Remember that it is natural to have conflicting feelings when exploring your identity.

Simply allow them to exist without trying to change or suppress them.

Now imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror.

See your reflection and take a moment to appreciate yourself.

For who you truly are.

Acknowledge the strengths and qualities that make you unique and valuable.

Look deeply into your own eyes and say to yourself,

I am worthy and deserving of love and acceptance,

Just as I am.

Repeat this affirmation several times.

I am worthy and deserving of love and acceptance,

Just as I am.

Allow the words to sink in and fill you with a sense of self-love and acceptance.

I am worthy and deserving of love and acceptance,

Just as I am.

As you continue to breathe deeply and slowly,

Visualize yourself living your life as your true,

Authentic self.

See yourself doing things that bring you joy and fulfillment.

Imagine yourself surrounded by people who love and accept you for who you are.

And feel a sense of inner peace and contentment.

Now take another deep breath in and exhale slowly.

And as you do,

Release any negative thoughts or self-doubt and replace them with positive affirmations about your true self.

Say to yourself,

I am proud of who I am and all that I have accomplished.

I embrace my true self with compassion and kindness.

Allow these words to fill you with a sense of self-confidence and positivity.

And finally take one final deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Bring your attention back to the present moment and when you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Remember that being the self which one truly is means embracing your unique identity and using it to create a fulfilling life.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable and honest with yourself and practice self-compassion and love.

You are worthy and deserving of acceptance just as you are.
