Falling For Snow | Instrumental Music For Meditation
The idea for this composition played on Sansula is based on the following experience I had several years ago: One afternoon I sat by the fireplace in my living room, a warm cup of tea in my hand. I looked outside the window and there it was: The first snowflake of the winter! Slowly and gently, it floated through the air and landed on my windowsill. More snowflakes began to dance in front of my window, until countless flakes formed a dense swirl of snow. I watched this miracle in awe. My own and the neighbors' gardens were now completely covered under a white rug. Nothing could be distinguished from another. The flakes had merged into one blanket of snow. Suddenly I realized: We all are like snowflakes – absolutely unique and yet part of this ONE life. After a while the snowfall slowly subsided. As I watched the last snowflake falling silently without anyone else noticing, I felt heavenly blessed. Almost as if it was falling just for me - or was I actually falling for the snow?
