This is a heart chakra cleansing Breathwork and meditation session. We store emotional disturbances in our heart chakra, and the Breathwork in this session is designed to let it out. The session begins with a guided meditation for feeling our emotions and what's really going on inside. Body awareness is involved throughout, as well as reminders to stay present.

Welcome to a meditation for cleansing your heart chakra.

We store so much of our emotional pain in our heart chakra.

Times we've been in fight or flight,

Time we've been stressed out,

Trauma.

When we don't process those emotions,

They get stored in our heart,

And stuck energy,

Stuck emotion.

Today,

We're going to do some breathing that will allow us to shake that up,

Move that energy out of our body to release it.

Allow whatever comes up for you during this journey to be exactly what you need.

Trust yourself with this.

Closing down the eyes,

Relax in the shoulders down.

Beginning to breathe slowly and deeply.

Noticing any areas of tension,

Relaxing into that.

Noticing any areas of tension,

Relaxing into that.

Asking yourself,

What's really going on in my heart today?

Looking into your heart,

Observing what's there.

Letting go of thought,

Trying to explain it,

But lean into your heart,

And just observe without judgment,

What's there to be felt.

Letting go of your awareness on your heart.

Noticing if your body,

If your mind wants to distract you from this,

Wants to pull you into thought.

Lean into your body,

Feel what you can feel.

Noticing your awareness on your heart.

Beginning to breathe slowly and through the nose,

Feeling your belly expand,

Breathing all the way up into your chest,

Feeling your chest expand with air and let it out through the mouth.

Breathing in through the nose,

Slowly filling the belly,

Opening up the heart area as you breathe all the way up to the top,

Pausing just for a moment and letting it out through the mouth.

And just repeating that breath,

Keeping your awareness right here,

Right now,

On what you're doing.

Feeling yourself releasing so much from your heart with every exhale,

Feel yourself letting go.
