And good morning,

Good morning.

Welcome to In The Flow.

It's a meditation day.

Today we are going to talk about something really kind of intimate.

Dare I say it that way.

But this is what I want to talk about.

This is what I want to tell you guys.

Over the course of my many years,

Because I'm getting older,

Over the course of my many years on this planet,

I've done a lot of self work.

Like I've taken so many self growth seminars and all that kind of stuff.

And I've grown so much and I've learned so,

So much.

But there's one thing,

You know,

And some of that stuff,

It kind of comes back into your brain whenever you need it.

But there's one thing that has sort of,

I wouldn't say always stuck with me,

But one lesson that I have learned and I keep relearning.

And I wanted to share that with you guys.

If you have a problem with somebody else,

It could be anybody.

It could be,

You know,

An acquaintance.

It could be a loved one.

You know,

Just anybody that you have a sort of issue with,

Right?

You have two choices on how you can handle that.

You have like something somebody said really bothered you.

You have a choice.

You can go out,

Gossip about that person and create and be in that place of ickiness,

Right?

And just feel bad about the situation,

Feel bad about the person,

Feel bad about yourself.

Or you can go and talk to that person,

Right?

You can have a conversation with that person and say,

Look,

I am speaking my truth.

This is how I feel.

And I want you to know.

And guess what?

Ten times out of ten,

You will walk away from that conversation feeling closure.

It may not be the type of closure you want,

But you will feel closure.

And I've learned that.

And the reason why I'm bringing this up is because there has been somebody that I really look up to.

And I have been,

In my own heart and my own brain,

I have been let down by this person.

And I've talked to my husband about it.

And there's that,

Right?

But you know what?

I ended up thinking to myself,

You know what,

Lord,

If you have a problem with somebody,

Go talk to them.

So that's what I did.

And guess what?

I feel so much better.

I feel released.

I feel a freedom from that.

Because guess what?

I am not going to allow those sort of chains of sadness and disappointment and all of that stuff grip me.

It doesn't have to.

There is a real freedom in speaking your truth,

Right?

There's a real freedom to that.

The true freedom is going to that uncomfortable place and coming out clean on the other side.

Freedom in your heart,

Freedom in your soul.

So today we are going to meditate on freedom.

Freedom.

I love that,

Right?

Freedom.

Yeah.

To me that just feels so perfect,

Right?

And you know what I love about all this?

It doesn't matter what religion you are.

You could be Christian.

You could be Jewish.

You could be Muslim.

You could be Hindu.

You could be anything.

These are like life lessons for us all.

Right?

So let's get ourselves comfortable and let's sit down and relax.

Let your eyes float closed.

And let's take a nice deep,

Deep breath.

Really,

Really slow.

Okay?

Really slow through your nose.

So slow that you can feel the air coming into your lungs and into your body.

And release.

There's something so cleansing about that breath,

Right?

Let's do it again.

Take a nice,

Really slow deep breath in.

And release.

Very good.

Now today we're going to try to relax our minds.

Relax our hearts.

And let's consider our gratitude today.

What are a few things that you are absolutely grateful for today?

What are you grateful for?

Can be anything that you want.

What is in your heart?

I'm so grateful for this weather.

I'm grateful for this room that I have created.

It gathers here.

Our mantra today is the Sanskrit word for freedom.

And that word is moksha.

Moksha.

And as you say this word today,

I want you to imagine your fist going up in the air like victory.

Moksha.

Like imagine that.

You can do it if you want,

But I'd rather rest it in the peacefulness of meditation.

But just imagine your whole body getting into it.

Moksha.

Freedom.

Freedom and whatever that looks like to you.

So if you move away from the mantra,

That's absolutely fine.

Just bring yourself back.

There's no wrong and no right here.

We're creating our practice.

I will keep the time.

And let's begin.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Moksha.

Start turning our attention back to our bodies.

Beautiful.

When you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

My bowl didn't exactly want to play today.

Not playing along with me.

So thank you for joining me today.

I hope you take the rest of this day and create Moksha with it.

Create Moksha in your heart.

Be there for yourself.

Don't be scared.

Step out of your comfort zone.

Allow yourself to be scared but then step on the other side.

There is true,

True freedom there.

So until next time,

Thank you for joining.

Namaste everybody.

Take care.
