Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.
Let's get in the flow.
So here's my question for the day.
What if?
You know,
So many people go,
They look at the world and they say,
What if I could only fly to the moon?
Or what if I could only be blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Whatever.
Right?
If what if,
If only,
You know,
I could get that particular job or whatever.
Right?
So that's like my question for the day because my question for the day is what if every single person on this earth did one act of kindness for somebody else today?
Like,
Can you imagine what it would be like?
And I know I've probably talked about this before,
But I think those things,
You know,
I mean,
I think to myself,
You know,
There's been so much bad news lately,
You know,
With like everything not,
You know,
Not just one aspect to life,
Really.
There's been so much bad news health wise and environment wise,
Political,
Regular news,
Just the regular news is like,
Oh gosh,
You know,
But you know what,
Sometimes I think to myself and I get,
I try really hard not to watch the news,
But you know,
I'm a spiritual being living in a human body and I am married to a man who likes watching news.
So I watch it because I'm,
You know,
Part of a team,
You could say,
Right?
And if it gets to be too much,
I just walk out of the room.
That's fine,
You know,
But I think to myself,
What if,
Gosh,
What if,
I mean,
Okay,
So let's just say that a hundred people hear this today,
Right?
And we all do one act of kindness for somebody else,
Right?
And then what if those 100 people do an act of kindness for somebody else?
I mean,
It's truly,
It is like a ripple effect,
You know,
One small act of kindness can make someone say,
You are absolutely right.
What if,
What if,
You know,
So that's what I want us to sort of focus on today.
You know,
It doesn't have to be a big,
Grand,
Massive gesture like you want a new car?
Doesn't have to be like that,
Right?
I mean,
It could be if you have it,
You know,
And you can give it,
That's fine,
But you know,
It could just be a smile.
You know,
I'm really big on the whole.
You don't know what somebody else is going through.
You know,
Even if on the road,
If somebody is like racing past you going past and I'll be the first to admit,
Sometimes I'm one of those people that races by and stuff and it irritates people or whatever.
But the bottom line is you don't know,
Maybe they're like racing to get to the hospital because somebody is dying.
You know what I mean?
Like we don't know.
We assume,
We make so many assumptions throughout our day,
Right?
We just assume that everybody's out to get us.
It has to do with us personally,
Right?
Or we assume that,
You know,
Whatever,
I don't even know what to say about that.
You know what I mean?
We assume.
We make it personal.
We all make it so personal,
Which,
You know,
Could lead us back to the book,
The four agreements,
You know,
But you know,
The reality is if we could just say to ourselves,
What if we had just a little bit more compassion today?
You know,
What if?
So that's what we are going to meditate on sort of today.
Don't you just love when I do that?
I'll be like,
Uh,
Okay.
Okay.
So let's get ourselves comfortable and get,
You can sit.
I love saying this because I think this is so important because I really try to,
Um,
I really try to focus my meditations on people that don't meditate very much because it can be any way you want.
You make up your own rules,
Right?
You can,
If you get really into it,
You can sit with the hand mudras and whatever,
You know,
And that's all good,
But you can make up your own rules and I just want to see people come back to it,
Come back to the sitting in the stillness just for a few minutes a day.
So that's my kind of goal.
So get comfortable,
Whatever that looks like for you.
Okay.
And close your eyes whenever it feels right.
Let's take a nice deep breath in really slow.
Sit in and release.
For the first deep breath of the day,
It's just amazing.
Perfect.
So let's raise our vibration just a little bit and let's think about those few things that we are so grateful for.
What brings you joy?
What brings you happiness in your life?
In your life?
What are you grateful for?
There's always,
Always,
Always something to be grateful for,
Right?
Now today,
Let's take that one step further.
Let's create an intention for ourselves for today.
And if this is at night for you,
That's fine.
Could do the rest of your day or it could be an intention for tomorrow,
Whatever that looks like for you,
Right?
What is one intention that you can create for yourself that is a what if,
Right?
What is a one what if for you?
What if,
What if everyone in the world just did one act of kindness for one day?
What if we all just simply smiled at other people today?
What if,
What is your intention for today?
So our mantra for today.
It's a very simple Sanskrit mantra.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
And that means I am divine love.
If we meditate and that is our mantra,
And we go throughout the rest of our day,
Knowing that we are divine love,
You will emanate that and people will see that love.
People will feel that love.
So aham prema,
Aham prema.
I will keep the time so you don't need to worry about that.
And let's begin.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
Aham prema,
Aham prema,
Aham prema.
I am divine love.
Start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Beautiful.
Whenever you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
Awesome.
I just,
My heart feels so full.
It's so cool.
I love when I meditate and it makes my heart so full like that.
So I'm so honored that you guys would spend even just a few minutes with me.
Thank you so much for all of your love and your kindness.
And I hope that throughout today,
You just have a little bit more of the what if in you today,
Right?
So thank you so much for joining from my heart to yours.
Namaste.
