Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.
Let's get in the flow.
For all those of you that have dogs,
And even those of you that do not have dogs,
Have you ever seen,
Either in person or on video,
How dogs react when their owner comes home from work,
From a trip,
From whatever,
Right?
Have you seen that?
It is truly incredible to watch and experience.
I mean,
Seriously,
This is the kind of thing that you look at on,
That you look at on,
You should look at on like,
You know,
The social media pages,
Right?
Because it's just so beautiful to watch,
Right?
The level of pure,
Unconditional love,
Exactly.
It gets me every time,
You know,
We leave in the morning to go to work,
To go on a trip,
To go errands,
Whatever.
And no matter how long it is until we come back,
They are still so excited to see us.
How does that make you feel?
Like,
When you think of that,
And you consider like those of you that have dogs,
And maybe those of you that don't can like consider that,
Can understand that,
Right?
How does it make you feel?
Warm and fuzzy,
For me anyway.
You walk in and you feel loved.
You feel wanted,
You feel needed.
Right?
Isn't that amazing?
So when my dog,
I had a dog named Clifford,
One of our two,
And when he was in his prime,
He passed away about,
Oh gosh,
About two years ago now,
And he was like my guy,
Right?
When he was in his prime,
He could hear me coming home when I was still rolling up to the driveway.
Maybe it was the sound of the car,
I don't even know.
But you know,
The second that I would open that door,
There he was tail wagging like a crazy dog,
You know?
I mean,
He was lethal with that tail too.
Now that I'm thinking about it,
Right?
If it hits something,
It broke for sure.
He was kind of a medium sized dog,
But he was like,
You know,
Yeah.
So it didn't matter.
Here's the thing.
It didn't matter whether I had a good day or a bad day,
Or if he had a good or a bad day,
He was in pain.
And he would come in and he would come over,
You know?
He would be there.
It's amazing,
Right?
What if,
Here's my point,
What if we tried that with our significant others,
Or our kids,
Or our parents,
Or whoever it is that we live with?
And even if you don't live with anybody,
What if you tried that at work?
I was in a seminar like years ago,
And they talked about this.
They talked about what if we acted like a dog acts when they see you when you come home from work?
What if we acted like that towards our significant others,
Right?
Can you imagine walking up to the,
You know,
Hearing your significant other walk in the door and you go,
Oh my gosh,
Oh my gosh,
Hi,
I'm so glad you're home.
So how was your day?
Tell me about your day.
Here's a hug and a kiss,
A hug and a kiss,
Hug and a kiss,
Right?
Can you imagine,
First of all,
Okay,
Your significant other,
Obviously that would probably change that relationship,
Right?
It would like break it wide open.
Can you imagine?
I'm just saying if you did that for your to your kids,
Right?
Can you imagine when your kids walk in with all the toad that they have,
Right?
And all of a sudden you walk in and you go,
Oh my gosh,
It's so good to see I'm so glad you're home.
How was your day?
Yay,
Give me a kiss.
Wouldn't it be great?
That would change everything because you are giving the love.
Right,
Just as we receive that unconditional love.
What if you walked into your office and walked up to everybody in your office and was like,
I'm so glad to see you today.
How are you?
It can change everything in a relationship.
It can.
Try it.
You know,
I love that.
I love that.
And the whole other part to this is allowing it.
You know,
Like the dog is excited to see you.
Allowing that love to happen.
You know,
Imagine if your spouse walked in,
Or if you walked in and your spouse was like,
Hi,
How are you?
Oh my gosh.
Allowing that unconditional love.
So important.
So,
So important.
So,
That's what we are going to meditate on today.
Yay.
I know.
This is like,
To me,
This is exciting.
Like I love,
I love the idea of unconditional love and how we can experience it.
I think I've probably told you guys before.
There was this girl I knew years ago and she said she had never experienced unconditional love.
And I was like,
You know,
Wow.
How insanely sad.
You know,
How insanely sad to never have experienced that.
Right?
So that's why as I have my,
You know,
As my dogs,
You know,
And I experienced that as we possibly have experienced that with even other animals.
I don't know.
Cats are a little too finicky.
But you know,
You can experience it with them too.
You know,
Just the idea of understanding it.
Right?
So let's get ourselves comfy.
Get ourselves comfy.
Close your eyes whenever it feels right for you.
Perfect.
Let's take a deep breath in.
Breathing in unconditional love and breathing out,
Breathing out.
What are we going to breathe out?
Breathe out fear.
How about that?
So let's take a deep breath in of unconditional love and breathe out the fear of allowing that into our lives.
Because that's what fear is.
When we don't allow the unconditional love in our life,
That's fear.
So what are you grateful for today?
What is going well in your life?
What are you grateful for today?
Right here,
Right now.
There's so much to be grateful for.
So much.
So much love to be had.
Perfect.
So our mantra slash affirmation for today is this.
Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Beautiful.
Very good.
So I will keep the time.
If you lose the mantra,
That's absolutely okay.
Just always come back and know that you can just focus on your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
But start out with this affirmation.
Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Let's begin.
Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Geoffrey Show.
And it does fire a Bracket,
And it does die a Brbsite.
You Today I allow unconditional love into my heart.
Beautiful.
So let's take a nice slow deep breath in breathing in that gorgeous beautiful unconditional love and release it that we may send it out to the world.
Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.
Namaste.
