Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert,

A brief,

Positivity-inspiring chat and meditation designed to uplift and motivate us to live our best lives.

Let's get in the flow.

I don't even know where to start with this,

To be honest with you,

Because I have had.

.

.

It's crazy how many people,

How many of my students have been like,

I just don't know what's going on with my life.

I don't know where I fit in anymore.

I'm not sure about my job,

My marriage,

My life,

My house,

My cat.

I'm not sure about anything.

And I don't mean to laugh,

But the sheer number of the people experiencing this right now is extraordinary to me.

And I really thought today was the day to talk about this.

And there's so much to say,

So I'm going to unpack it as sort of succinctly as I can,

Because there's a lot,

And I know so many people that are going through this,

And I want to shed some light on it,

And I want to give you some hope.

So that's kind of the bottom line.

So these symptoms of spiritual awakening,

Some people call it the spiritual flu,

The ascension flu,

Ascension symptoms,

Right?

All of these are like spirit coming into our being.

This is the time of awakening.

This is the age of Aquarius.

I know that sounds like the song,

But it's true.

It's the age,

Right?

Of Aquarius.

Sorry,

I should have finished that.

So what are these symptoms?

Now,

If you're feeling any of these,

There is going to be varying degrees of it.

It's craziness.

But I'm hoping that we can all feel sort of a camaraderie about this,

Right?

Okay,

So are you feeling disconnected from your life as you knew it?

Feeling isolated?

What about that?

Are you starting to rethink your beliefs?

Are you realizing that nature is important to you?

And you're starting to like sort of understand that?

Are you experiencing deja vus more more frequently?

And what about your dreams?

Are your dreams becoming more vivid?

Yep,

Yep,

Yep.

Are you feeling like you're more intuitive than you've ever felt before?

So much,

Right?

Are you seeing the world differently?

Are you feeling the,

Like the,

I don't want to say anger because that's such a harsh word,

But are you feeling the frustration over injustices in the world?

Do you feel like you're becoming more of an empath?

Like,

Are you taking on the feelings of others?

Physical symptoms,

Let's talk about that.

Physical symptoms,

Migraines.

Now,

I'm not saying,

Like you should go to the doctor,

Okay?

You should always go to the doctor if you feel like something is wrong,

For sure,

Right?

However,

There are some signs of spiritual awakening.

Migraines,

Fatigue,

Massive fatigue,

Brain fog,

Right?

Brain fog.

Do you feel alone?

Do you feel kind of unsure about your future?

So I'm getting a lot of yeses on all of this stuff,

Right?

These,

Oh my God,

All of you guys,

It's so great.

These are the signs of spiritual awakening.

And what I feel like I'm supposed to say today is that just allow yourself to be.

Don't sit in the,

Oh my God,

You know,

And don't,

I would say,

Don't upend your life,

You know?

Don't like,

Don't like just jump in your,

I'm just going to say it,

Don't jump in your VW bug and take a cross country trip,

You know?

I mean,

Now isn't the time for that.

We don't want to run away is my point,

Right?

We don't want to run away from it.

We want to start to take it in.

Okay?

So what do we do now that we figured out all these things that are happening could potentially,

Not always,

Not a hundred percent,

All of these things could potentially be signs of a spiritual awakening.

So what do we do about that?

How do we grasp onto that energy and make us make ourselves feel better,

Right?

Because that's like a thing.

A lot of people don't feel so good about all this stuff.

It's not,

It's uncomfortable and it's feelings that you've never felt before quite possibly,

Right?

So obviously,

And people get so irritated with me,

But I'm just going to say it,

Right?

Meditation.

Oh my gosh.

In all of the readings that I've been doing,

I've been,

People are coming to me in droves lately because they're freaking out because they don't understand where this is coming from.

Meditation can help.

Sitting in your own stillness and becoming more aware of the energy around you and the energy within you.

That can really begin to change how you're feeling about it because what we want to do is all of those symptoms that I just mentioned are probably pretty jarring for some people who've never experienced.

I mean,

All of a sudden you're experiencing,

Let's just say migraines because you've never felt it before,

Right?

You have to not panic and start to possibly go with it.

We're going to do a really great heart meditation on this in a minute,

Right?

So sitting in the stillness,

That's one thing.

Self-care.

If you need to,

Go take a bath,

Right?

Or go take a walk.

Freaking hug a tree.

I know people always laugh at that,

But I love the idea of hugging a tree.

Be in nature.

Be patient.

Keep telling,

Find affirmations for yourself.

Keep telling yourself that I am patient with myself,

Right?

Ground yourself.

Ground,

Ground,

Ground,

Ground,

Ground.

Can't say enough.

Ground yourself.

And then there's always smudging.

Try to get rid of some of the not so amazing energy that you might be feeling.

So smudge.

You know,

Use some sage.

Just burn some sage,

Right?

Then,

Those are like sort of physical things that you can do,

Right?

Then what I want to say about this is surrender.

Start to,

In your meditations,

Surrender yourself to light and love and positivity.

Always on the highest of the emotional guidance scale,

Right?

So start to surrender yourself to Spirit and know that Spirit always has your back,

Right?

So it's beautiful.

Okay.

Let's get ourselves comfortable.

We're going to do a meditation from our heart space.

This is where we want to go right now with this.

All of the symptoms that we just talked about,

All of the things that we were just discussing,

As long as we,

I shouldn't say as long as,

That's really not really how I want to describe that.

We're going to do a meditation from within our heart space.

Because that is where all of this can be centered.

All of our chakras as well,

But our heart chakra,

Most importantly.

Okay,

So let's sit in stillness.

Close your eyes and just listen to my words and just be gentle with yourself.

Listen to my words.

So let's allow ourselves to get comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Let's take a nice deep breath in.

And release.

So for right now,

I want us to place our attention on our heart chakra.

And I want you to start to imagine that beautiful green light emanating from your heart chakra,

Lighting up that area of your body and then expanding,

Expanding to the rest of your body.

Imagine that beautiful green light within your chest.

Feeling that love expanding throughout your body,

Your being.

And as you are imagining that beautiful green light filling up your body and filling up the room where you are,

Relax in the love.

And you repeat after me,

Silently.

I let go of all that does not serve me.

I forgive myself for the mistakes in my past.

I live in harmony with nature and the infinite.

I love myself unconditionally.

My heart is free from pain of the past.

I am worthy.

I deserve love.

I give and receive love easily.

My center joy is my true nature.

I am love.

I am.

Let's take a deep breath in through our nose.

And release very gently.

Knowing that today,

Peace will abound within us.
