Do you ever have those days where you had to make a decision and maybe it didn't quite feel authentic to you or felt like that decision had served you?
If so,
This is for you.
Today,
I had a conversation with someone and the tone of the conversation had really stuck with my energy.
After the conversation,
My energy felt a little shaken.
The conversation had really triggered my nervous system.
I know throughout the workday or maybe sometimes with family or relationships or even yourself,
Something can happen that triggers your nervous system and leaves you feeling in a fight-or-flight feeling.
Thinking back on your day today or maybe this past week,
Was there a decision you had made that did not align with you or serve you?
Maybe it was something at work or something that you had procrastinated on that left you feeling behind.
Take a moment now and check in with your body.
How is that decision or that action making your body feel right now?
Take a deep breath in and release.
If you are feeling tightness,
Maybe your heart is racing a little bit faster or thinking about that decision or that moment is making you sweat a little,
Remind yourself that that is okay as we are lovingly observing these feelings and bringing a gentle mindfulness and awareness to those feelings.
I invite you to hold space for yourself now to release that tension,
That tightness,
To slow your heartbeat down,
To calm your nervous system and to release piece by piece,
Body part by body part.
Take a deep breath in and slowly release.
Take a moment now to find a really comfortable position for you.
I would suggest lying down on a padded mat or finding a comfortable seated position,
Whatever feels most comfortable to you.
Start with a long,
Deep,
Deserving inhale and take your time with the exhale.
If you are laying down,
Leaving your elbows grounded,
Bring your fingertips together to touch.
Allow yourself to feel your heartbeat through your fingers and the pulse of energy.
Take a deep breath in and release.
Placing your hands together now in a prayer position,
Bring your hands over your forehead and allow your thumbs to touch your forehead or your third eye.
If it feels safe for you,
Apply just a light amount of pressure.
Feel your healing hands on your skin.
And when you are ready,
Gently trace your thumbs over each eyebrow and stop when you get to your temple.
Allow yourself to apply a little bit of light pressure over your temple to encourage yourself to soften in your forehead,
In your cheekbones,
In your jaw.
Bring your hands back down to your side and maybe just gently wiggle your body a little bit just to encourage a little bit more softness.
Remember to focus on your healing breath as we continue to release the tension and the tightness from each body part.
If it feels safe for you,
Place one hand on your stomach and one on your heart.
In the quiet of your mind or maybe even out loud,
Whisper to yourself,
I am safe.
I trust myself.
I am safe and I trust myself.
Feel the words that you speak to yourself as you feel your hand on your stomach rise and fall with your breath.
I am safe and I trust myself.
Take a deep breath in and release.
Keeping your hands on your stomach and your heart,
Shift your healing focus to your legs,
Your calves and your toes.
Wiggle your toes lightly.
Feel your muscles in your legs relax as they melt into whatever is holding you.
I am safe and I trust myself.
Give yourself permission now to soften into this version of you.

Today I let go and trust that the universe will hold me.
I let go of any expectations I place on myself.
I let go of any negative vibrations that I am holding in my body.
I let go of any painful memories or hurt that's holding me back from being true to myself because I deserve to live my life as the best version of myself.
And holding on to all of this clutter and messy feelings that serve me no good is not worth my time.
I am better than that.
Today I let go and step with confidence in love with myself and my life.
Today I trust in the universe that I will be guided to love,
Happiness and peace.
