What would it feel like to fully surrender to the unknown? So often we get looped into control in order to know what comes next.... But if you know and you control, what gifts from life are you missing? What if releasing your grip, surrendering your control, and surrendering to the unknown can take you just where you want to go.... and maybe even take you to a more divine place and way of being? Take 10 minutes to meditate with me to practice surrendering your mind, body, and spirit to the unknown. I hope you practice and can develop your own safety and your own assurance in the unknown, as that is where the true calm and knowing lies. Place trust in the surrender, my friend. Welcome,

My friend.

Do you struggle with surrendering in your day-to-day life?

This is for you.

Take a moment to welcome yourself into this present moment.

Direct your mind away from the past and away from the future and surrender your mind to this present moment.

Take a deep,

Slow,

Steady breath in through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Slow like honey.

Take your time here to surrender the tension in your body.

To surrender and release any tightness.

Maybe starting with your forehead and your jaw and scanning your body down through your chest and your torso.

Take a deep breath in and exhale as you surrender to this present moment.

How does it feel to surrender?

Can you feel the surrender in your body as it softens and feels safe to this present moment?

Take a deep breath in and hold that breath for four seconds and release.

You are the surrender,

My friend.

When it feels like we need to control everything and have that next step planned,

That next action,

The next words,

Without the surrender of the unknown for what is to come,

You may be missing just what is meant for you.

Brianna Weist writes,

There is a path to everything you know is waiting for you,

Even if you don't know what that is right now.

Does this feel familiar for you?

Trying to control and constrict versus trusting and holding an expanse of energy for whatever is meant for you.

Sometimes we just can't know what that future path holds for us.

And that's okay.

So often we feel that knowing gives us a deep assurance and a deep calm in our everyday being,

In our nervous system,

In our cells,

In our soul,

But how would it feel for you to place trust in the unknowing?

Knowing that there are going to be many paths available for you,

But having trust that they all lead to the same place,

The place where you surrender and hold a great assurance and peace in that surrender,

Knowing that no matter what happens or where those paths take you,

You will be right where you need to be.

Take a few moments now to play with the surrender in your own body.

Notice how good it feels in this moment to hold that assurance in the surrender,

To feel that deep peace that comes with it.

Use your breath as a guide here,

My friend.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold that inhale as you move that energy,

That surrender through your body,

Hold,

Trust that you can hold it just a little longer,

And release.

My friend,

I hope you hold space for the gifts that your heart can't even fathom just yet.

Place trust in the surrender and remember that you can always take a moment for the surrender.

Until next time,

My friend.
