Gratitude meditation.
This can actually be practiced either by listening to this as a guided meditation or you can actually keep a notepad next to your bed and jot down a few things that you're grateful for either first thing in the or the last thing before you go to bed every night.
It's a beautiful practice to get in the habit of doing and the results are very profound.
If you'd like to continue with the meditation just find a comfortable seated position.
Maybe you're still in bed or maybe you're about to fall asleep.
Relaxing,
Softening into the bed,
Into the pillow,
Closing your eyes and just taking a few moments to think of three things that you're grateful for.
Those three things can be very small things or they can be very big things and maybe when you get to thinking of that third thing that you're grateful for you'll realize that there's a fourth thing that you're also grateful for.
Maybe a fifth,
A sixth,
A seventh and so on.
Continue to think about all of the blessings that surround you,
Small and large.
They're all so important.
They're all so special and the more you dwell on these blessings,
The more you stay in a state of gratitude,
The more positive your outlook will be and ultimately the more healthy your body will be.
Remembering that you're already in a state of healing and any time that you relax like this you're allowing your body to be in healing mode taking a few more moments to maybe think of one more thing that you're grateful for today and just notice how good that blessing feels within your body.
Holding on to that,
Allowing it to bring you joy and relaxation and most of all healing.
