Quick breath protocol for an energy boost whenever you need it. Start slow and speed it up as you get comfortable or as you're ready. The breath is an amazing tool that we can use to both calm us down or give us an energetic boost!

Hi guys,

This is a quick breath protocol for an energy boost whenever you need it.

As always,

If you are pregnant,

Have high blood pressure or any other major health issues,

Please consult your doctor before doing any type of faster breath patterns.

You can start on your backs or seated,

But do this in a stable position,

Just not standing up.

We'll start with inhales and exhales through the nose.

Just bringing some awareness to your breath.

Notice your energy.

Just how you're feeling this afternoon or whenever you're doing this.

After your next exhale,

Take a strong inhale through the nose and blow it out the mouth.

For three,

Two,

One,

And hold at the bottom.

Hold on the exhale.

Relax the jaw.

Release any tension you're holding in the forehead.

Take an inhale through the nose and hold.

As we continue on,

You might notice some tingling or lightheadedness.

Just stay with it.

You're almost there.

Purse your lips.

Blow the exhale out really slowly.

Good.

At the bottom of your exhale,

Inhale through the mouth and then blow it out the mouth.

Keep it going.

Keep it going.

Full inhales through the mouth.

Full exhales through the mouth.

You might start to really feel those tingling sensations.

It's OK.

Stay with it.

You're almost there.

That's three.

Hold at the bottom of your exhale.

Noticing the energy swirling around in the body.

Stay with this hold.

You're almost there.

Last three,

Two,

One.

Take an inhale.

Right back to it.

Mouth exhale.

Mouth inhale.

Blow it out.

You're not here forever.

Keep it up.

Keep it up.

Full inhales through the mouth.

Full exhales out of the mouth.

Last three,

Two,

One.

Hold at the bottom of the exhale.

You've got this.

Just notice the sensations going on in your body.

Maybe starting to feel a little bit more alert,

Energized.

Stay with this hold.

You're almost there.

Last five.

Take an inhale through the nose.

And hold.

Letting the body absorb all the oxygen you just took in.

Relax the jaw.

Relax the space between the eyebrows.

Purse your lips.

Blow it out slowly.

All the air out.

All the air out.

Squeeze the low belly up and in.

Then come back to light inhales and exhales through the nose.

Hope this gave you a little energy burst.
