Welcome to the Mama's morning intentions meditation.
Setting your intentions for the day is key to being able to handle anything that is thrown your way,
Even poop.
Let's face it,
As moms we are constantly asked to be prepared for anything and everything when it comes to our kids,
And we have our own lives that require our attention and care.
Setting intentions for your morning on how you want your day to go is the strong foundation you need to live freely amongst the demands you face.
This meditation guides you to be able to do that.
Let's get this started.
Find a comfortable seated position and simply close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
As you settle into your seat,
Begin to notice your body.
How does it feel this morning?
And let the answers arise from within.
How do you feel this morning?
There's no judgment here.
Your feelings are valid.
You're taking note of your body and how you feel this morning.
You don't need to figure them out.
Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
Stay in this present moment with your eyes closed and begin to soften your shoulders down away from your ears.
Bring your awareness to your thoughts.
You don't have to engage with them.
Just notice them.
Let them pass you by like clouds in the sky.
Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
You're just taking note of your thoughts as the witness of them.
They don't define you.
Truth be told,
You are not your thoughts.
Take another deep breath in and a deep breath out.
In this moment,
I invite you to place your right hand on your stomach and your left hand on top of your right.
Let your intuition guide you as you ask these questions.
Receive and accept the answers as a gift.
What do I need today?
Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out,
Letting the answers just be.
Accept what you need today.
Take another centering deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
Let your intuition guide you.
What does my child need to hear from me today?
Let the answer just be.
You will get to tell them.
Stay in this present moment with your hands upon your stomach.
Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.
Begin to take note of the answers that came from within without judgment.
They're all the right answers.
Trust your intuition.
Feel free to place your hands back down by your side or in your lap and take another deep centering breath in and exhale all the way out.
Let this day be guided by clear intentions on what you need today and what your child needs from you.
Take another deep cleansing breath in and exhale all the way out.
Bring a smile to your face.
Let the day of abundant possibilities bring excitement and awe into your life.
Be aware that something good is going to happen for you today.
As you smile,
Allow for the love and light that is within you to fill you up.
