Transcript

Find a comfortable seated position.

Close your eyes and allow yourself to just relax.

Begin to look up and in between your eyes at your third eye center.

Take a full breath in.

And as you exhale let your muscles relax even deeper.

Another deep breath in through your nose filling up the belly,

Ribs,

Hold it at the top of your chest.

Slow exhale let it go,

Let it go,

Let it go.

And then again inhale through your nose fill up.

This time as you exhale begin to create a humming sound.

Another deep breath in filling up.

Exhale and hum.

One more time inhale through the nose fill up.

Exhale.

Please continue to cycle through your normal set of breath.

Just begin to bring all of your attention to your neck,

To the center of your throat,

Your fifth chakra,

The throat chakra.

And as your awareness comes to this part of your body just begin to let go of any resistance you feel might be present around this area.

This is the part of us that allows us to speak our truth.

The part of us that expresses ourselves authentically.

Many of us have blockages here.

You may feel tightness in the neck,

Tension in the jaw.

Let's just see if we can begin to release some of that tension.

Moving the eyes closed gently begin to nod your head up and down as if you were expressing yes.

Moving your head with intention.

Forward and back.

And then just gently begin to come back to the neutral spine.

And then allow your head to move left and right as if you were shaking your head yes and no.

Just moving slowly here turning the head with intention stretching it as far as you can all the way to the left and all the way to the right.

And then come back to neutral.

And then begin to bring the right ear towards the right shoulder.

Pause here.

Just feeling that stretch through the left side of your neck.

Breathing deep.

Come back to center and switch sides bringing your left ear towards your left shoulder stretching through the right side of your neck.

A couple of slow deep breaths.

Gently come back to center bringing more of your awareness to your throat area,

Your throat chakra knowing that these movements just help to free up any blockages that might be stuck there.

And as you have your attention here on the throat chakra just begin to imagine this beautiful bright indigo blue energy moving in a circle at the center of your neck.

Seeing this beautiful blue energy swirling around just notice the pace at which it moves.

Is it moving fast?

Is it moving slow?

Perhaps it's moving in a clockwise direction.

Or maybe it's moving counterclockwise.

See if you can start to feel the energy of that chakra just moving all around you.

As you do repeat this affirmation.

I speak my authentic truth with confidence,

Clarity and compassion.

I speak my authentic truth with clarity,

Confidence and compassion.

Again I speak my authentic truth with confidence,

Clarity and compassion.

Just continue repeating this inside your head five more times.

I speak my true with confidence,

Clarity and compassion.

And as you continue repeating this mantra just imagine your throat chakra opening up.

Imagine all blockages releasing and dissipating.

Feel your inner voice becoming stronger and more clear.

I speak my authentic truth with confidence,

Clarity and compassion.

Take a slow deep breath in through the nose.

Fill the lungs up.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Now we're just going to chant the mantra hum which activates the throat chakra.

Take a deep breath in filling up.

Exhale hum.

May your speech be authentic and full of love.

Namaste.

Gently tuck your chin towards your chest.

Bringing your hands to heart center.

Slowly begin to open your eyes coming back into this space.
