Laila has been a life-long meditation practitioner who embodies compassion, connection, and inner-peace. Since 1997, she has been a Mindfulness and Trauma-Informed Teacher who leads global retreats, courses, and workshops. Laila is honored to be a Certified Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher and Certified International Mindfulness Teacher - Professional Level. She is also the co-creator of the Self-Compassion for Shame course along side Dr. Chris Germer and three others. In addition, she has worked closely with Dr. Kristin Neff on the Fierce Self-Compassion course teaching it since 2022. Laila lives a life of intention driven by her dedication in the field of mental health, mindfulness, self-compassion, and humanitarian work.
