Welcome to this journaling session.
My name is Laia and I'm very grateful that you've chosen to embark on this journey of self-awareness.
If you've never journaled before,
I want you to really consider that this is a practice that is meant to invite more freedom,
More awareness,
More balance into your life.
So if you feel any type of stress about this,
Just know that you can truly make this practice yours.
And of course if it doesn't serve you,
Just let it go like everything else.
So let's go ahead and grab your journal or a piece of paper and a pen,
Pencil or maybe a fountain pen,
Whatever utensil you like to use to write.
And then maybe you can find a place where you will not be disturbed for the next little while.
Maybe you have a cozy spot that you like to sit at.
So make yourself comfortable.
And before we get started with the journaling practice,
Let's go ahead and take a few breaths together just to center and arrive.
Let your gaze soften or if you rather close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Open your mouth and let it go.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale completely.
One more deep breath in and with the exhalation let it all out.
Take a moment to notice how you feel,
How you arrive into this practice physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally.
Welcoming yourself as you are.
Take another deep breath in through your nose and let it go.
If your eyes are closed,
Start to blink them open again.
Grab your journal.
Get your pen.
Maybe you take the time to write the date or something else that you want to write at the top of the page.
And maybe there is a specific format of journaling that you'd like to embark on for a little while.
But I invite you also to simply find freedom on the page if you want to.
There are no specifics that you have to follow other than to stay connected with your breath to the best that you can.
As you move through writing each word and see if you can get through three pages.
No more,
No less.
Once you finish the three pages,
Bring yourself to stillness and simply enjoy the sounds of this tropical storm until the end of the track.
I hope that you enjoy your journaling.
I will leave you now.
