This meditation invites you to find deep relaxation and presence by tuning into the natural rhythm of gravity. You’ll be guided to imagine gravity as a wave of energy—something you can gently increase or decrease with your breath. As you inhale, you’ll feel yourself becoming lighter and more spacious. As you exhale, you’ll feel gravity deepen, releasing tension and grounding you into the earth. Through this alternating flow of lightness and heaviness, you’ll discover a balanced middle ground—feeling both grounded and free, supported and spacious. Welcome to this meditation on finding relaxation and presence through gravity.

Sit or lie comfortably and close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a few conscious breaths to settle in.

Now,

Imagine gravity has become a visible wave of energy that you can control.

As you inhale,

Sense gravity waves decreasing,

Feeling yourself becoming lighter.

As you exhale,

Sense gravity waves increasing,

Feeling yourself becoming heavier.

Inhale,

Gravity decreasing.

Exhale,

Gravity increasing.

Inhale,

Worries floating away.

Exhale,

Letting any tension release to the earth.

Continue this wave-like pattern for several rounds of breath,

Alternating between feelings of lightness and groundedness.

If your attention has wandered,

Gently bring it back to your breath and to your focus on gravity.

Inhale,

Getting lighter and lighter.

Exhale,

Getting heavier,

Letting it all go.

For these last few moments,

See if you can let your gravity settle into a comfortable metal ground.

Not too heavy,

Not too light.

How can you feel both grounded and free?

In this balanced state,

There is only the present moment.

No past weighing you down,

No future pulling you away.

You are perfectly balanced in the here and now.

As we come to a close,

Feel the weight of your body connected to the surface below you,

Supported by the natural gravity of the earth.

Gently move your fingers and toes.

Take another breath in,

And on the exhale,

Slowly open your eyes if they were closed.

Consider how you can carry this sense of relaxation and presence with you as you move on with your day.
