Welcome to this meditation on finding presence through color breathing.
Find a comfortable position and gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Imagine a soft glowing orb of light hovering in front of you.
As you breathe in,
Imagine the orb turning a cool,
Calming blue.
As you exhale,
See it shift to a warm,
Comforting orange.
Breathe in and see blue.
Breathe out and see orange.
Continue this pattern for a few rounds of breath,
Focusing on the changing colors.
Now with each breath,
Let the color flow into your body.
Breathe in the calm blue,
Feeling it spread through your chest and limbs.
Exhale the warm orange,
Sensing it flow out from your core to your fingertips and toes.
If your mind wanders,
Gently bring it back to the shifting colors and the sensations in your body.
Inhale calm blue,
Exhale warm orange.
For the next few cycles of breath,
Choose your own colors.
What color do you need to breathe in right now?
What color do you want to release?
As we come to a close,
Decide which healing color you would like to settle into your body and imagine it doing so as the orb slowly fades away.
Take one more deep breath and slowly open your eyes if they were closed.
Invite this feeling of being grounded in the present moment to follow you throughout your day.
