Namaste.

Welcome.

This is Christi and I am so grateful for you choosing to be here to practice Yoga Nidra.

This practice can really support liberating you from the mind,

The busyness,

Bringing you back into this state of wholeness where we remember we are so much more than the mind and the body,

Connecting to that spark within the spirit,

The soul.

So as you welcome in your practice,

Begin by creating a very comfortable Yoga Nidra nest for yourself.

Pillows and blankets,

Dimming the lights,

Setting yourself up with any props that support supreme comfort,

Asking yourself how can you hold yourself and set yourself up to feel held in a more vulnerable and compassionate way.

You have done more than enough and it's time to shift into non-doing and the medicine and wisdom that the practice of Yoga Nidra offers.

There's so much information the body offers when we experience deep states of stillness and offer it space to rest so we feel more rejuvenated and balanced,

Experiencing more states of wholeness.

Let yourself breathe and melt,

Feeling relaxation starting to take over,

Gently scanning your body and noticing where you're holding on to something,

Where your energy is being drawn outward and as you exhale,

Just feel it start to release any energetic cords,

Any attachments.

This space is just for you to feel held and supported and when we are in a state of wholeness and more balanced,

We can show up for others in a more mindful and present way.

So just breathe,

Feel the inhales starting to create a sense of spaciousness and an exhale to encourage a deeper state of relaxation.

Bring your attention to all of your toes and both feet and just let go,

Release and allow that to travel up the entire length of each leg so your whole lower half can surrender here and that bridge of the torso and the pelvis,

The heart starts to create a surrender in the upper half of your body,

Moving down the arms,

Each finger and then just allowing the face to completely relax anything that you're holding on to here around the eyes,

The jaw,

Maybe even visualizing the mind as a muscle just completely relinquishing control and relaxing.

Now just feeling your whole body at once,

Your whole entire body and with your whole body inviting in your sankalpa,

Your intention,

This heartfelt desire or prayer spoken in celebration of the reunion of your soul and spirit and its connection directly to the universe.

If you're working with a sankalpa,

You can invite that in or perhaps repeating,

I am whole,

My true nature is wholeness,

I am grateful for my wholeness,

Mind,

Body,

Spirit and just repeating your sankalpa three times.

Now we'll begin to move through a rotation of consciousness,

Just following the guidance of my voice,

Bringing attention to each point I name.

You can imagine a bright star touching each point,

Creating a sense of wholeness as expansive as the whole universe.

We'll begin on the right side of your body,

Starlight touching the right big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Pinky toe,

The top of your right foot,

The sole of your right foot,

Ankle,

Heel,

Shin,

Right knee,

Right hip sliding up the right side of your waist to the right armpit,

Right shoulder,

Elbow,

A point of starlight touching the middle of your right wrist,

The right thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Pinky finger,

Palm of your right hand,

Back of your right hand,

Middle of the right wrist,

Elbow,

The right shoulder,

Feeling your whole right side of your body and then shifting over to the left big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Pinky toe,

Top of the left foot,

Sole of the left foot,

Ankle,

Heel,

Shin,

Left knee,

Hip sliding awareness all the way up the left side of the body to the left armpit,

Left shoulder,

Elbow,

Starlight the center of your left wrist,

Left thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Pinky finger,

Palm of your hand,

Back of your hand,

Middle of the wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Feeling the whole left side of your body,

Feeling both the right side of your body and the left side of your body.

I'd like to imagine little stars sprinkled throughout your body creating a connection to the expansive nature of the universe that resides within you.

Feel this wholeness in both feet,

Calves,

Thighs,

Up to the lower back,

Middle back,

Upper back,

Back of the neck,

Back of your skull,

Top of the head,

The forehead,

Landing to the space between your eyebrows and allowing this sense of wholeness to reside here in this energetic center,

Allowing it to penetrate down into the deepest parts of your mind.

You might like to imagine breathing into this space and with every breath,

Sinking deeper into a state of awareness of your wholeness,

All layers,

Physical,

Mental,

Emotional and spiritual.

Now start to feel the breath like the healing light from the stars in the sky starting to radiate down throughout every cell in your body,

Allowing each cell to hold on to this lightness,

This wholeness,

This life force energy.

Just let yourself breathe and feel your whole body breathing.

Just feel your whole body melting.

Just begin to visualize the cyclical nature of the lunar cycle,

The wholeness of this cycle that offers healing.

Each month,

Begin to visualize deep darkness the waning new moon offers in this invitation from Amavasya on the new moon to slow down,

Rest and find stillness.

Visualizing a sense of darkness,

Allowing the darkness to create stillness in your body,

Rest and rejuvenation and visualizing the light the waxing full moon offers.

The gift of Purnima offers this opportunity to shine light on what needs to be looked at,

To be released and let go.

Perhaps experiencing light touching your entire body and then simultaneously allowing the connection to both light and dark to create a dance of wholeness within you.

Experiencing the yin and the yang,

The masculine and feminine,

The light,

The dark,

The wholeness.

Allow yourself to breathe in this wholeness,

Letting it transform and radiate balanced life force energy into each cell,

Into each layer from the physical body all the way to the most subtle,

Allowing yourself to drift off into feeling and experiencing supreme bliss,

Consciousness and enlightenment as your body rests here in silence only to return to your deepest nature which is wholeness.

Allow yourself to return to your breath,

Feeling the aliveness of your mind,

Body and spirit,

Allowing yourself to rest while celebrating the reunion of your soul and spirit for you are a microcosm of the macrocosm.

The whole universe resides inside of you and all of its wisdom and within this place inviting your sankalpa to return,

Your whole body repeating the sankalpa,

I am whole,

My true nature is wholeness,

I am grateful for my wholeness,

Mind,

Body and spirit.

Allow your awareness to shift to feeling each part of your body touching the surface beneath you and to feel the spaciousness around you,

Inviting any shifts in of what this practice may have offered you and a reminder that this place is always within you to return to.

You can stay here as long as you need,

Trust your intuition especially if you need to rest more and if you're ready to reawaken,

You can wiggle your toes and your fingers,

Find gentle stretches and placing your hands over your heart or visualizing your hands over your heart and really honoring both sides of self,

The yin and the yang,

The light and the dark,

The masculine and feminine and the wisdom both sides offer to create a more balanced sense of being.

Thank you so much for practicing with me,

Truly truly honored to have you here and I absolutely adore reading your messages and love connecting with you so please continue to connect and I would so appreciating you subscribing and sharing with anyone that you feel could benefit.

Thank you so much,

Sending you so much love and blessings.

Have a beautiful rest of your day or night.

Namaste
