Welcome,

Today we are going to focus on how to incorporate the principles of Reiki into your daily routine to provide you with guidance,

Balance,

Healing,

And positive energy.

Please take a moment to make yourself as comfortable as possible in your chair,

On your bed,

Or on your mat.

Close your eyes,

Or simply soften your gaze.

To prepare to receive these principles,

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose for a count of five,

And slowly exhaling through your mouth for a count of five.

Let's repeat this two more times.

Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of five,

And slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of five.

One more time.

Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of five,

And slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of five.

I will say each of these principles,

Pausing briefly after each one,

So that you can repeat them out loud,

Or if you prefer,

Silently to yourself.

Let's begin.

Just for today,

Do not worry.

Just for today,

Do not anger.

Earn your living honestly.

Honor your parents,

Teachers,

And elders.

Show gratitude and respect to every living thing.

Count your many blessings.

As you reflect on each of these principles,

Let's take another deep breath in through your nose for a count of five,

And slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of five.

Let's repeat this two more times.

Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of five,

And slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of five.

Last time.

Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of five,

And slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of five.

Take all the time you need,

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes or refocus your gaze.

I hope that you have enjoyed this guided meditation and that you return to it whenever you feel the need to do so.

It is suggested that these principles be recited out loud five times each day.

Thank you so much for choosing to spend some time with me today,

And I wish you all the best on your journey.
