Krista shares with you, seven of her favorite positive affirmations to say before you even roll out of bed. So many times our minds go straight to the negative thoughts of what didn't get done, or what still needs to be done - instead, let's start the day with these seven positive affirmations to better prepare us for whatever this day holds for us.

Good morning,

My friends.

All right,

Today,

We're going to get started with seven affirmations to take with you throughout this whole day.

Saying affirmations in the morning won't necessarily change the trajectory of what's going to happen in your day.

However,

It sets a constructive tone,

A positive tone for your day.

It helps to influence your mind and your attitude.

They can cultivate more positive,

Optimistic outlook on life.

One thing that has been incredibly helpful to me is before I even roll out of bed,

Before I throw off the covers and get out of the warmth of my bed,

I will lay there and say some beautiful gratitudes or affirmations before my feet even hit the ground.

Our minds are automatically conditioned for negative mindset,

For negative thoughts.

And so the more work and the more conscious we can become around changing a lot of those negative thoughts into positive,

We can lead a less stressful life.

We can handle different things that are thrown at us that possibly we don't see coming,

Or maybe we do know a stressful day is coming.

If we can set ourselves up in a way that is advantageous and that can help us,

Why not?

So if we can build a foundation of self-confidence and self-assurance by saying and by repeating affirmations and mantras and prayers that work for you,

It will give you better coping mechanisms to last throughout the day.

As I mentioned earlier,

It doesn't necessarily mean your whole day is going to be roses and puppy dogs and rainbows.

It means that when pivots and curve balls are thrown into your day,

And maybe you have an argument with your boss,

Or maybe your kids throw tantrums,

Or you and your partner are off kilter,

This is going to ground you,

Help ground you if you allow it to.

So as I've said in my previous tracks before,

I'm a huge writer,

And I believe that writing helps us solidify what we believe and what we want to believe.

So I'm going to give you seven gratitudes,

And you can say them just laying in your bed this morning before you even get out.

Maybe you're listening to this when you're driving,

Maybe you're listening to this at some other time.

I encourage you to grab a pen and grab a piece of paper,

Grab your journal and write these down and help them sink a little bit below the head,

Right?

Because deep belief and deep understanding is when it drops below the neck and into the heart and into the soul.

So I'm going to start off with a few of these affirmations that I like to say before I get out of bed.

It's after I give my gratitudes for my breath,

For being alive,

For having a house,

For having a warm blanket,

For my family.

So I'm going to share these with you right now,

And I want you to say them with me.

I want you to say them with me.

Repeat them in your head.

Repeat them out loud.

I am grateful for this new day and the opportunities it's going to bring.

I attract positivity and joy into my life.

I trust in my ability to handle any challenges that come my way.

Today,

I am choosing happiness and peace over stress and chaos.

I am confident,

Capable and ready to tackle this day ahead.

My actions align with my goals,

Leading to success and fulfillment.

I radiate positive energy,

And that energy attracts positive experiences.

You can either rewind this a little bit and listen to those again,

Or if you wrote them down,

Read them again and say them out loud and keep saying them and keep saying them.

I promise you that if you listen to these every single morning and say them for a full week,

You will start to feel and see the world a little bit differently.
