One of the best techniques to help bring mindfulness to everyday living is to start your day with it. Many of us have a rushed morning routine and don't fully pause to be present until later in the day. Kris gently guides you as you start your day with a few mindful moments. As you wake up, take a moment to pause in gratitude before you get up and start your day.

Hello,

To begin this meditation,

You can start by laying down comfortably and relaxing.

Take a deep breath in and let it out.

One of the best techniques to help bring mindfulness to everyday living is to start your day with a visit.

Many of us have a rushed morning routine and don't pause to presence ourselves until later in the day.

This exercise can help you start off your day with a mindfulness moment,

Strengthening your practice.

As you wake up,

Take a moment to pause before you get out of bed.

Laying in bed,

Tune into your body.

Feel your body resting and notice how it feels as you begin moving and stretching.

Bring your awareness to your breath,

Taking a few deep full breaths.

Recognize that you woke up and are grateful to breathe this morning.

As you get up and begin your day,

Try to retain some awareness.

Routines make it easy to fall into autopilot.

Notice when you lose your presence and come back to your mindfulness.

Pause for a few moments throughout your day for intentional breathing.

Breathe in gratitude.

And as you exhale,

Extend that gratitude outward for everyone around you.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I'm glad I found this guided meditation. It is thoughtfully composed, sweet, and carries a meaningful message. I'm happy I can return to it in the mornings to deepen my ability to be mindful at the beginning of the day.
