Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.

Begin to find a quiet place where you can sit or lie down comfortably.

Close your eyes and take a deep cleansing breath in.

And slowly exhale.

Now gently place your hand over your heart.

Feel the warmth of your own touch.

A steady rhythm of your heartbeat.

And let this be a reminder that you are here,

Present in this moment.

And take another deep breath in.

And slowly breathe out.

Silently or softly repeat these words to yourself.

On the inhale,

May I be calm.

And allow the words to settle within you.

And let that go.

Next inhale,

May I be safe.

And feel a sense of security growing all around you.

And let that go.

Next inhale,

May I be free from worry.

And imagine stress and tension melting away.

And exhale.

And on the inhale,

May I be at peace.

And allow a sense of stillness to wash over you.

And let that go.

And as you settle into your breathing,

Allow these words to wrap around you like a warm embrace.

Feel the truth.

Feel their kindness,

Their gentle power.

If your mind wanders,

Simply return to the words.

May I be calm.

May I be safe.

May I be free from worry.

May I be at peace.

Take one more slow,

Deep breath in.

And as you let go,

Imagine releasing anything that no longer serves you.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this kindness with you into the rest of your day.
