Good morning.
Let's begin this meditation by taking a few deep breaths in and out.
Gently close your eyes and let's center ourself.
Now bring to mind someone that you love deeply.
Picture their face in your mind's eye and allow yourself to feel the love that you have for them.
Keep breathing.
I want you to imagine a warm golden light emanating from your heart and enveloping them in a loving warm embrace.
And I want you to say to yourself,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be safe,
May you be at peace.
And I want you to repeat these words for a few breaths,
Allowing all of the love and warmth to permeate your entire being.
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be safe,
May you be at peace.
Now bring to mind someone that you have difficulty with.
Perhaps someone that you feel anger or discouraged or resentful towards.
And I want you to picture them in your mind's eye.
And now say to yourself,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be safe,
May you be at peace.
And repeat these words for a few breaths,
Allowing yourself to soften and let go of any negative feelings,
Any negativity that you hold in your body.
Breathe it all out.
And now I want you to bring to mind all living beings,
All living creatures on this planet.
And I want you to say to yourself,
May all beings be happy,
May all beings be healthy,
May all beings be safe,
May all beings be at peace.
Take a few more deep breaths in.
And finally,
I want you to bring a photo of you,
Maybe a younger version of you,
Maybe how you look today,
You decide.
I want you to in your mind's eye picture you.
And as you're breathing,
I want you to say,
May I be happy,
May I be healthy,
May I be safe,
May I be at peace.
I want you to take one more big deep breath in and inhale love.
And on the exhale,
I want you to exhale love and extend it out.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and have an amazing day.
And so it is.
