The path of forgiveness. Forgiveness is an act of freedom for the one who forgives. It is us who will no longer be held back by the pain and resentment. This is true for forgiving others as well as forgiving ourselves.

All right,

Today is day four of the challenge,

Forgiveness meditation.

Remember to honor yourself.

I will guide you to open your heart to forgiveness.

Process it in yourself,

With yourself,

And with others.

So take a moment to center yourself.

I invite you to sit comfortably or lie down.

Close your eyes.

Soften.

Inhale through your nose.

Then out through your mouth.

Settling in and settling down.

As you breathe and let go,

Allow your eyes to move side to side,

To calm your brain and your thoughts.

Let your eyes soften into the heart of your soul.

As you begin this practice,

Allow the thoughts to come and go with no effort.

Just being aware of your breath flowing in and out.

Let your body settle in and settle down.

Notice the feelings that are rising from within you.

Breathe into the sectionary of your heart.

Be gentle with yourself.

Send yourself some love and compassion,

Honoring this moment.

Surrender to this forgiveness with courage.

Open heart to compassion and understanding.

Be courageous to place yourself in front of a person you wish to forgive,

Knowing they are not here to hurt you.

You are safe.

Breathe in to relax and release.

Today is the day of forgiveness.

Embrace this moment of freedom and release.

I forgive you.

I forgive you for everything that you have done to me.

Not because I agree with what you have done to me,

But because I release myself from any attachment.

I forgive you so I can be free and fearless.

I am no longer allowing myself to carry you within me.

I no longer need you in order to exist.

I am ready to let you go.

I forgive you so I can free my inner child,

Unleash her with courage.

I am freeing myself so I can live my authentic life,

To live the life of my dreams.

I release you.

Exhale.

I release you.

I release you.

I release myself from any attachment to the victim's story.

I release myself from any feeling of guilt or shame.

I am courageous with love and forgive myself.

I may breathe and release any tension that my body holds.

Today I claim my power,

Not a power over you,

But a power within me as I empower myself.

I empower others to be the spirit they meant to be here,

To live with light,

Love,

Compassion,

And consciousness.

Today is the day of my forgiveness and my power.

I am thankful for the lessons life brings to me.

I am grateful for this opportunity to evolve and grow.

I am breathing,

Releasing and letting go.

Today I am free,

From this moment I am empowered.

Breathe with awareness and awakening,

Bring yourself back to the present moment.

Become aware of the sounds around you.

Inhale through your nose,

Exhale through your mouth.

Wiggle your body to awaken,

Open your eyes and just notice.

Honor yourself,

Honor this journey.

You are a bliss,

You are a matter.

Unleash your inner bliss to light up the world.
