A practice that I've been practicing for the last year and I am finding it very helpful and very powerful is the gratitude journal in the morning.
This is what I'm doing.
The first thing,
Three things that I'm grateful for right now in this moment.
It redirects your focus to positive aspects of your life and as you pay attention to the good things that are part of your life,
You start to notice more and you go through life with a more positive perspective and you enjoy your life more.
Not to talk about the law of manifestations and the more grateful you are,
The more you open up yourself to new possibilities.
The next thing is three things that I love about myself because we as people,
We have the tendency to look at the things that we want to improve or we look at the things that we want to achieve and especially during this time when social media is making it very easily accessible to compare ourselves with others without even noticing it and we strive to be better,
This can very easily get a negative turn.
So what are some things that you love in yourself?
What are some things that you are grateful for in yourself?
And as you embody more this kind of energy,
It is a reminder,
A daily reminder that we are all unique in our ways.
We are all part of a divine perfection,
Of a greater order and we are so beautiful the way we are.
And from this perspective,
From this energy,
Striving to be better versions of ourselves,
But embodying this energy,
This is really beautiful and it has been having a really good effect on me because it reminds me that we are all beautiful in our own ways.
And I mean,
Even before this,
I would still appreciate myself and others,
But consciously choosing to see three things that I appreciate in myself every morning.
It is like a blessing.
It is like seeing my blessings.
It is like seeing how lucky I am for all the things that I have and for the things that I am.
And it is even moving through insecurities because there are times or there are days when we feel more self-aware,
When we feel more,
We are more aware of our insecurities.
And it is a good practice.
It is a practice that I've been really enjoying and that I do suggest to practice.
The next thing is three small things that could happen today that would make this day a good day for you.
My perspective,
My experience with this is understanding that you don't need much to have a good day.
You don't need big things to have a good day.
And when I look back the next day and I see the definition of that day for me,
And in the most of cases,
It turns out that I had a good day.
And it is helpful because there are days that you feel more in flow.
And there are other days that you're more dealing with resistance or the challenges or the unexpected parts of life,
Even though they can be blessings in disguise.
But as you move through them,
You feel the resistance,
You feel the challenge.
And noticing that those good things actually happen.
And even though it was a challenging day,
It was a good day.
It is such a beautiful feeling.
And in the long run,
By practicing this every day,
I noticed that you get to the understanding that you're actually having a good life.
Because if you're having one good day,
And another good day,
And another good day,
And another good day,
The totality of your days translates in your life.
And you're having good days,
One after another,
Even though some of them are challenging.
It means that you're having a good life.
It may not be perfect,
There are still things that may need to improve,
There may be challenges that you're overcoming,
But you're having a good life.
The next thing is my purpose for this day,
And what lesson can I learn today?
What lesson do I need to pay attention to today?
The purpose of this day,
Redirecting the attention to what you want to be connected with.
What is the thing that you want to embody today?
I really love this part,
Because for the most of it,
It is either connecting with the divine,
Being an embodiment of the divine,
Connecting with an aspect of myself that I am finding more challenging to love,
Being more connected with my calling.
Those are the ones that,
When I look back,
That have been very often part of the purpose of my days,
But they can be other ones.
For example,
Being my best self,
Or whatever you feel that you want to be that day,
Whatever you want to embody that day.
The next one,
What is a lesson that I may look up to?
What can be the lesson of this day?
For this one,
I like to use cards,
Oracle cards,
And every day,
When you look at it through the eyes of,
What can I learn today?
How can I transform this day into a lesson?
How can I grow through this day?
Going through your time with this mindset,
It really helps you transform whatever experience is coming your way.
You are moving whatever energy you are in this embodiment of curiosity,
And lessons,
And mindfulness,
And wisdom,
Because you have to be present,
To pay attention,
And learn from what is coming your way.
And of course,
There are challenging moments,
But when you come with this mindset,
With this perspective,
Those challenging moments are opportunities to learn,
Are opportunities to grow and evolve.
It gives you so much courage,
And at the same time,
Wisdom,
Because you step back,
And you see from a wiser perspective.
You're not just going through time without understanding what's going on,
You're trying to see the wisdom in every experience.
And even though there are moments that we all may slip back to feeling stressed,
Or all kinds of uncomfortable emotions,
We need those emotions.
When you look at them with,
What is the lesson?
What can I learn from this?
That is really helpful,
Because then you get the courage to transform it,
And take the wisdom,
And then that wisdom,
You can apply in another situation in the future.
It is such a beautiful process.
It takes 5 to 15 minutes for me every morning,
But it is a practice I have been doing for something more than a year now,
Maybe a year and a half,
Or something like that.
But it is something that I want to keep doing,
Because it is very life-changing,
And it brings such a beautiful perspective and empowering energy to me every day.
And of course,
That I want to share it,
Because I'm seeing benefits in myself.
If you give it a try,
I'd love to know how it goes for you.
The first month may be a bit challenging,
As every other thing,
When it comes to incorporating something new as part of your routine.
But give it a try,
And I'd love to know how it goes for you.
And one thing to remember,
If you skip a day,
Or a few days,
Don't be hard on yourself.
You can always start new.
Sending you so much love,
And thank you for being here.
We will hear again in the next recording.
Bye for now.
