Hello and welcome.
I am really glad that you are here.
I am Claire and during this meditation I will be with you and guiding you in a presence meditation to feel our feelings,
Especially the uncomfortable ones.
During this moment I invite you to experience a different aspect of feeling and I know that this may be really uncomfortable.
But one thing about feeling emotions is that the only way to healing is through feeling.
The only way for you to release them from your body and from your psyche is to feel them.
So during this following few moments I invite you to sit in a comfortable position,
In a comfortable place and to gently close your eyes.
You can do this with your eyes open if that feels more comfortable to you.
Taking a deep breath through your nose to your chest to your belly and gently release it through your mouth.
Taking another deep breath through your nose to your chest to your belly and gently release it through your mouth.
Keep on breathing gently.
Deep breaths but gentle,
Gentle breaths without forcing yourself in a rhythm that feels relaxing and comfortable.
Notice your body.
Notice the sensations in your body.
Are there any areas that you do not feel at ease?
Simply give them permission to be.
Give permission to this feeling of uncomfortable in your own skin,
In those certain areas.
To just be.
We are choosing to feel it with our own free will.
We are choosing to feel this uncomfortable emotion.
Having our awareness in these sensations and noticing how our body is reacting to it,
Connecting with our bodies in a deeper level as a sign of love to ourselves and to our bodies.
Sometimes love requires us to do the uncomfortable stuff so we can feel easier,
So we can release.
Sometimes love feels uncomfortable.
It is in doing the tough stuff,
Like the discipline,
Like showing up for ourselves and now it is being with ourselves even when it feels uncomfortable.
Being there for ourselves,
Being here with ourselves and for ourselves even when it feels uncomfortable.
And you can put a name to this feeling if you want to.
And notice how this feeling changes.
Most of the time,
Feeling changes when we truly feel it,
When we fully feel it.
Sometimes they take longer than we expect to be fully filled.
And sometimes they take less time,
Whatever the case.
Give yourself permission to feel them.
Choose,
Cautiously choose to feel those feelings.
And pay attention.
Because when the feelings are fully felt,
They bring us a message.
They bring us a reminder to take back our power,
To step into our power.
They bring us a piece of wisdom that we can apply into our lives.
So have the patience to feel.
Have the love for yourself to give yourself the power to feel.
Give yourself permission to just be and remember that you are lovable in all of your forms and colors,
Even when you feel blue or pink or light yellow or light white or green or any way that your feelings feel.
They may feel as a color or a shape or a texture.
Pay attention and notice and give them permission to be.
Give yourself permission to be.
Take as much time as you need to feel it.
For you are worthy of it.
You are worthy of the patience,
Of the love,
Of the acceptance and the release.
You are worthy of it all.
