This is a beautiful empowering mindfulness meditation. Before the meditation, come up with a keyword quality that you want more of in your life (love, presence, peace, power, strength, confidence etc.). This meditation uses confidence as the example affirmation, saying 'Confidence is in me' as the affirmation and tapping your thumb on each of your fingers as you say a word of the affirmation. Enjoy!

Hello,

Kiri here and welcome to this empowering mindfulness meditation.

We will come up with a keyword and then say this keyword as we tap our thumb to each one of the fingers on that same hand.

If you haven't already come up with a keyword,

Think about what you want to bring more of in your life.

It could maybe be confidence,

Love,

Peace,

Strength,

Or trust,

Or whatever else comes to mind.

Whatever word calls to you today,

Go with it.

And today's word might be different than another day.

As I guide you through,

I will use the keyword confidence.

You can keep confidence or you can replace confidence with your key word.

So when you are ready,

Let's come into a comfortable position and take the time now to deepen into our breath.

Feeling the air through your nose as you breathe in and breathing out through your mouth as you breathe out.

Fully relaxing your body as you exhale.

Continue to focus on breathing deep into our belly on the inhale and lengthening and relaxing your exhale.

Continuing with deep full inhale and long slow exhales.

When you are ready,

We will come into our affirmation and tapping.

Here's how it works.

We will start with our right hand and let's tap our thumb to our pointer finger and say our key word.

For myself,

Confidence.

Then tap your thumb to your middle finger and say is.

Thumb to ring finger and say in.

Finishing with thumb to tapping your pinky and saying me.

Then you'll repeat back over at the start with your thumb tapping your pointer saying your affirmation again.

For me,

It's confidence.

So it will go confidence is in me.

Confidence is in me.

Continuing on your own saying confidence or saying your own key word is in you.

As you go,

Focus on bringing all of your attention to your words and the sensation of each finger making contact with your thumb.

Your thumb.

Let's now swap hands.

So if you are on your right hand,

Let's now move over to our left hand and saying your affirmation is in you as you tap and say your affirmation.

See if you can slow down your breathing and relax as you connect to your tapping and affirmation.

If your mind starts to wander,

That's okay.

Just notice and come back to your affirmation is in you and tapping.

Let's now bring both hands together as we say our affirmations and tap.

Continue to relax as you connect to your tapping and affirmation.

For the last few moments,

Let's release the tapping and affirmation and let your mind wander and go wherever you wish.

When you're ready,

Let's come back to our breath,

Feeling the air as you breathe in and feeling the air as you breathe out.

I hope you enjoyed this tapping affirmation meditation.

Feel free to take this concept and use it in your daily life anytime you want to center and ground yourself.

When you are ready,

You can slowly start to come back to the space around you.

Thank you for being with me here today.
