This is Kip.
Join me in a few moments of mindful breathing,
Learning to be here now.
So gently close your eyes and take a few deep cleansing breaths in through your nose,
And gently relaxing and exhaling through your mouth.
And again,
As your stomach expands,
The air moves up through your ribs,
Your chest,
Your nose,
And gently releasing any stress or worry or judgment you may have in this moment.
And notice your thoughts,
As your thoughts are part of this experience.
And so when your thoughts come through,
Simply watch them as if they are puffy white clouds passing in a beautiful blue sky.
And then bring your awareness back to just observing your breath.
It's almost as if right now you're riding the wave of the breath,
Your life force.
And now take a breath in for four counts and hold the breath for two.
And gently release your breath for four.
Breathing in,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold for two.
Breathing out any negative energy for four.
And breathing in this positive flow,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold your breath for two.
Gently release any negative energy for four.
One more time,
Breathing in for four,
Filling your vessel with love and abundance,
Hold for two,
And gently release for four.
And now simply return to your normal way of breathing and take the next breath into your heart as you open up your heart in gratitude and appreciation for being present and living.
And know that this practice of observing and watching the breath is a practice you have access to at any moment of the day.
You can rely on this to calm you,
Put you in a place of serenity,
And most importantly to present you into this moment.
