Welcome to this meditation for meeting your spirit animal.
Its intention is to connect you to your universal knowing,
Letting you receive guidance from the universe.
Get more clarity on any question that may be floating in your mind right now.
Let's start this journey by come to find a very comfortable seat,
Maybe sitting up on a cushion or even a chair,
If it helps you to sit upright and then rest your hands on your thighs with the palms facing down or up,
Whatever feels best to you right now.
And then gently close your eyes if you haven't already.
Take your time to consciously arrive in your now moment,
In your environment,
In your body,
In this room.
Allow your hips to get really heavy and imagine your sit bones rooting down into the surface you're sitting on.
From this place of deep groundedness,
Imagine you're like a flower that can grow even taller.
By lengthening the crown of the head just ever so slightly up to the sky.
Notice how long and tall your spine is in this position.
Your chin dips ever so slightly.
Relax your jaw and soften all the tiny little facial muscles around your eyes and your forehead.
And now please place your attention on your breath.
Notice how it feels when you inhale and when you exhale.
Every inhale through the nose and every exhale out the same way.
All by itself.
No need to shape or stretch the breath in any way.
Let your breath flow naturally.
And then I invite you to let everything go that no longer serves you.
Let all assumptions about everything that you think to know go.
Allow your body and soul to relax deeper and deeper with every breath that you take.
Imagine now that you are walking on a path.
This may be in a forest.
On a plain field of grass and flowers and butterflies.
In the mountains.
Or maybe even on the beach.
Picture it and take it all in.
Notice what colors you can see.
Which sounds you can hear.
What animals live here.
All the little critters.
Maybe there aren't any.
Maybe it's water flowing.
Or maybe even you feel a light breeze flowing around your skin.
How does the air smell?
As you walk along your path,
Enjoying the beauty of nature around you.
You begin to notice there's an animal sitting next to this path you're walking on.
You can see its shape taking form more and more as you're getting closer.
You're walking up to it.
You see that it is looking at you very intently.
And suddenly you have this inner knowing and you can just feel this is your spirit animal.
Notice how it looks like.
You take in what it looks like and what kind of animal it is.
How it behaves.
What it does.
Maybe even the color of its eyes looking at you.
Now you're standing right in front of it and it is looking at you even more intensely.
You take a deep breath in and close your eyes.
Putting both hands on your chest.
And you breathe out.
And you ask,
Is there anything that you want to tell me?
What do I need to know in this moment?
And then you just listen for an answer.
And know that if nothing comes up,
That's okay too.
You thank your spirit animal for its time and its answer.
Whatever it might have been.
And then you continue on your path.
And you immediately notice that you're feeling very different after this encounter.
You may feel lighter and uplifted by the message it may have told you.
Or you might feel reassured that things are working out for you.
And that you are right on track towards what you are wanting.
And in that moment of feeling this stream of positive energy flowing towards you and all around you.
You take one last deep breath in on this path you're standing on.
And then you breathe out and you find yourself back in the room you're doing this meditation in.
You can see yourself meditating and smiling.
And you feel this loving kindness towards yourself.
A deep appreciation for how far you've already come.
And an eagerness for everything that is yet to come.
Knowing that you are deserving and worthy of it all.
And that whatever it is,
You can do it.
Because you are never alone.
Now you know more than ever before that you have all the love and support from the entire universe.
And your spirit animal.
Slowly return back.
Become aware of your body,
Your surroundings and whatever you're sitting on.
Deepen your breath.
Thank yourself for taking this time to come back to your universal knowing.
And just appreciate how you feel in this moment.
And knowing that no matter what happens later today,
There will always be another moment of now.
And a new opportunity for you to tune in to your universal inner guidance that is always available to you.
Whenever you choose to tap into it.
Bring your hands together in front of the chest.
You can dip your chin slightly.
And when you're ready you can open your eyes again.
