When we are surrounded by chaos and ugliness, it can be hard to see the beauty around us. The beauty of life gives relief and helps to keep you positive.

Hello,

This is Carrie,

And empowered with it.

Let your attention come into the body.

Let awareness come to the level of sensation in the body.

Feel the physical sensations of being in a body.

Sensations of the bodies on the chair or on a pillow.

The pull of gravity.

Sensations of the chest moving.

The breath.

Sensations in the neck.

The weight of the head.

Feel this body you sit in.

Gradually allow your attention to come to the belly and begin to soften the belly.

Make room for the breath in the belly.

Breathing in,

Belly rises.

Breathing out,

Belly falls.

Soften to receive the breath.

Down into the belly.

Allow the breath to breathe itself in soft belly.

Each breath softening.

Opening.

Releasing.

Belly rising.

Filling with softness.

And then going to this place within your heart where you feel safe and secure.

Loved and adored.

And suddenly now in sweet softness.

And from this place you realize beauty is everywhere.

Natural beauty shines forth from every little flower.

From the patterns of the reflected light on the surface of water.

From the quiet strength of old trees.

As nature begins to thrill you,

It renews and refreshes you.

And you find relaxation,

Enjoyment and healing in the simplest things in life.

As you look with love at nature,

You find it easy to look with love at yourself.

For you,

Dear one,

Are part of nature.

Thus,

You are beautiful in your own unique way.

Wherever you look,

You see beauty.

Today,

You resonate with all the beauty in life.

Beauty delights and heals you.

You find beauty in everything in your world.

And so as this meditation soon comes to an end,

Go about your day and discover the beauty all around you.

So when you're ready,

You can bring your attention back into this room,

Back into your body.

Opening your eyes and feeling refreshed and alert with a smile on your face.

Whenever we are complete,

This is wonderfully so.
