Training the mind is an essential part of successful living. Everyone, at some point in their lives, experiences trauma. The memory of these events gets embedded into the fabric of our being. On some level, at the very least, the energy of experience becomes etched into the essence of who we are. The human mind and body are really just one, integrated, holistic system and the record of our lives, consisting of both positive and negative experiences, remains within our carbon-based being. This is why the adage about learning, feeling, or knowing something in “our bones” rings true. Every experience we’ve ever had is somehow embedded in our mind-body system. No matter how traumatic an experience may have been and regardless of how deeply embedded the memory may be, shining the light of awareness onto the energy that locks it in place will stimulate a release. You can heal! This guided process unlocks that energy and restores your natural joy.

Healing through feeling.

All in existence is one energy that is conscious of only joy and bliss.

As you,

Me,

And everyone live,

Move,

And have our being in this oneness,

So too is the natural state of your consciousness pure joy and bliss.

Yet sometimes this natural state is disguised by painful emotions wrapped up in sticky memories and suppressed feelings,

Accumulated from the experiences of our lives,

Many of which were acquired when we were very young.

Today is the day to release them,

To reclaim the power of being fully present in the here and now,

And open up to our natural state of joy and bliss once more.

Be sure to settle in to a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

You may keep your eyes slightly open or gently close them.

Feel the support of the surface that you are resting on,

And breathe naturally with an expanded awareness of how the air enters your body,

Circulates,

And then releases to once more integrate with the larger environment around you.

Now direct your awareness inside.

What are you feeling right now?

Is there an emotion attached to your present feeling?

With lots of practice suppressing our feelings,

It may take some searching to find it,

But it is always there,

Even if it moves around a bit.

This too is okay because we can also learn to feel that movement.

Just let it come into your awareness,

Whatever that shows up as,

And feel it with a sense of curiosity.

Feelings are just the movement of energy within our awareness,

And remember,

Ultimately,

There is only one energy in all of existence.

Feel the feeling of this present moment without labeling or judging it.

There is no need to name it,

Just concentrate on how the feeling feels.

Simply be aware of it.

There is also no need to try and pin it down or hold on to it,

And similarly,

There is no need to chase it away.

Just let it be there.

Now take your time to appreciate its qualities.

Notice the location of the feeling or in which part of your body you perceive it.

How big is it?

Is there a color connected to the feeling?

Is it thick or thin,

Hot or cold?

Is it consistent,

Or does it rise and subside?

Is it expanding or contracting,

Pulsating or throbbing?

Is it vibrating or humming?

Are there any images,

Sounds or other sensations arising?

Old memories may even come to mind that are linked with the feeling.

There might be a story associated to the feeling,

Situations,

Thoughts or inner pictures.

Just observe them as they come and go.

This feeling that might have been suppressed for a very long time has now become visible again.

Congratulate yourself for expanding your awareness and allowing this feeling the space it needed to express.

Feel deep appreciation for this feeling.

See its value as a demonstration of the one energy of all existence expressing by means of you.

Appreciate the feeling for being present and enriching the spectrum of possibilities in your world.

This feeling is precious,

For it is a unique expression of your creative power operating in harmony with the infinite power of the universe.

Offer your love to that feeling.

Love the feeling right now,

Just the way that it is.

Feeling the state of being loving,

Feel love and appreciation flowing through you.

You are the one giving love to that feeling.

Allow yourself for loving this feeling and for being the space through which love flows.

Give yourself love and appreciation for this moment in which you feel and perceive that feeling with expanded awareness.

You are the creator of this feeling.

Now you can see your creative power in action,

Your own creative power manifesting as this feeling.

Say to yourself,

Look what I created,

I love to realize my own creative power.

Now,

As you appreciate the feeling and as you appreciate yourself for feeling the energy of this feeling,

You can see with fresh eyes that the feeling has no existence without you.

You are the one who invested the energy to give existence to this feeling and indeed all of your feelings.

Now ask yourself,

Do you want to keep this feeling?

Do you choose to experience the feeling for a bit longer or are you ready to let it go?

Open yourself to a new possibility of being free from that feeling in its present state and having the energy once invested there to be now restored and available to you.

Let the feeling flow back into the stream of your creative energy.

Release all the stories that are linked to that feeling.

Release any feeling of identification with that feeling and choose to let it go.

Say to yourself,

This feeling is just one episode in the great story of my life and I now release it.

I am now open to new ways of being,

New adventures in expressing my power and new creations that support my joy filled life.

You take this time to feel energy flowing through your body.

There is a hum,

A vibration and new sense of rhythm and harmony emanating from every cell and fiber of your being.

You feel the joy and bliss that is your natural state.

You are now more aware than ever before that your consciousness is programmed for joy,

Creativity and freedom.

And now it is time to come back into the here and now.

You go forth from this experience with heightened awareness,

An expanded sense of your creative potential and a greater acceptance of well-being.

And so it is.
