Find a comfortable position and allow the body to settle in.
Settle in to the surface beneath you and then settle in to the surface beneath that.
Allow the eyelids to gently close or keep them softly open if you prefer.
See if there is any adjustment you can make to be even the slightest bit more comfortable.
Relax your body and ease into letting go.
Pay attention to any areas where you might be holding tension.
Consciously soften these areas while you take several full,
Deep breaths in,
Filling upward into the lungs and with each exhale,
Letting go.
Continue to deepen your connection with the breath,
In through the nose,
Filling up and exhaling out the mouth to release.
Knowing that this time is for you,
This moment is yours,
Releasing every moment of today before now,
Allow yourself to settle.
With a clear mind,
Imagine yourself in a lush,
Tranquil forest on a sunny day.
You can feel the soft forest floor beneath you and hear the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze.
Birds are singing all around,
But today we focus on the majestic Blue Jay.
Visualize a Blue Jay perched on a nearby branch.
Its feathers are brilliantly blue and it radiates a sense of confidence and vibrancy.
As you watch the Blue Jay,
Take a moment to feel a connection with the natural world around you.
Sense the harmony of the forest and the calmness it brings.
Inhale deeply and with each breath,
Imagine that you are absorbing the qualities of the Blue Jay,
Its strength,
Resilience,
And the freedom it represents.
Feel this precious energy filling each and every cell of your body with every breath you take.
As you continue with the breath,
Visualize the Blue Jay taking flight.
Watch as it soars gracefully through the sky,
Its wings spreading wide.
Imagine yourself alongside the Blue Jay,
