Travel to a beautiful meadow, where you can let go of the worries of the world and access peaceful solitude. Experience the swaying grass and warmth of the sun as you settle into stillness. This practice uses visualization and the breath as an anchor for both relaxation and release of the busy mind.

This practice uses the breath and visualization as an anchor for relaxation and for the release of the busy mind.

Find a comfortable position and allow the body to settle in.

Settle into the surface beneath you and then settle into the surface beneath that.

Allow the eyelids to gently close or keep them softly open if you prefer.

See if there is any adjustment you can make to be even the slightest bit more comfortable.

Relax the body and ease into letting go.

Pay attention to any areas where you might be holding tension including the jaw,

Eyebrows,

Around the eyes,

Forehead,

Chest,

Belly,

Neck.

Soften these areas while you take several full deep breaths into the belly filling upward into the lungs and with each exhale consciously let it go.

I invite you to continue with these deep intentional breaths in through the nose filling up and exhaling through the mouth to release.

Knowing that this time is for you,

This moment is yours for relaxation,

For stillness,

For knowing that everything meant for you is on its way.

Come home to the present moment cultivating awareness through the breath.

Releasing every moment of today before now allow yourself to settle,

Letting go now of intentional breathing.

Allow the breath to simply happen.

With a clear mind imagine yourself in a beautiful meadow.

Sitting in a meadow with tall grass and wildflowers as far as the eye can see.

The sun warms the skin with its affectionate light.

Hear the sound of the soft rhythmic sway of the tall grass as it dances in the wind.

The sweet smell of honeysuckle carried through the air.

Feeling a gentle breeze blowing across the skin as you take in the beauty around you and continue to settle in.

Let any thoughts pass by like a feathery bristle of a dandelion carried into the distance by a warm peaceful breeze as you take in the beauty of this place.

And now as the worries and the ways of the world begin to fall away could you release them to the earth and let them go.

There you are open,

Receptive,

Clear.

Stay here and just be.

I'll let you know when it's time to come back but for now just be.

The meadow is a place of peaceful solitude,

One where you can feel the beauty of your inner landscape.

Begin to deepen the breath,

Awakening the relaxed body.

On your own time bring gentle movement to fingers,

To toes.

Take your time.

When you're ready allow the eyes to open.

As you prepare to move through the rest of your day take a deep breath in crossing the arms across the chest.

Still embracing your beautiful amazing self,

Exhale.

Crossing the arms let's do one more breath to seal today's practice.

Inhale through the nose breathing in from the belly.

Hold for three,

Two,

One and release exhaling out the mouth completely.
