Welcome to this meditation for relaxation and deep sleep.

My name is Kaz and I'll be your guide today to help you drift into a safe and warm place.

To feel relaxed,

Calm and a sensation of belonging.

Sit or lie down somewhere where you won't be disturbed and take some time now to breathe deeply,

To connect.

If you need to move or adjust your position,

You are free to do so.

You are safe and held and comforted by your surroundings.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it at the top and breathe out.

And again,

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it at the top and breathe out.

Relax,

Relax,

Relax.

Release,

Release,

Release,

You are walking along a beach.

On your body are your most comfortable clothes and they move with a slight breeze in the air.

You feel the sand beneath your feet.

In the distance you can see a lighthouse and a beach bar.

You have a sense of not having anywhere to be or anything to do right now.

A cold circle above you,

Gliding,

Playing,

Happy.

You feel content as you hear the waves gently and slowly dissolve into the shore.

It's a peaceful place and one where you really want to be.

You amble along the long stretch of sand,

Allowing thoughts to calm you down.

Allowing thoughts to come and go.

There are a few white fluffy clouds in the otherwise beautiful blue sky.

Caps get h divergence towards burned Oh You reach the bar and you can see people chatting and relaxing with friends and family.

You feel good.

You move on feeling your toes in the sand,

The texture,

The warmth,

No shoes,

Lovely.

You read them.

You are feeling sleepy and decide to find a quiet place to lie down.

You reached an undisturbed piece of beach,

Take your soft blanket out of your bag and settle down.

Lying back,

You look up to the sky.

You take some nice deep breaths and feel your stomach rise and fall.

Close your eyes and notice how your body feels.

Be aware of any tension.

Take a moment to be at one with yourself.

Breathe in deeply.

Hold and release.

Breathe in the sea air.

Deep.

Hold and release slowly.

Two more big deep breaths.

And breathe normally.

Relax your shoulders and your face.

And if it feels comfortable for you,

Part your lips slightly.

Relax.

Ground.

Breathe.

Feel the breeze on your face.

Hear the water lapping.

Rhythmic.

Like breathing.

In through your nose.

Hold that breath.

Go deeper now.

Reach a place in your body where you feel you are as relaxed as you can possibly be.

And breathe normally.

Feel an amazing sense of serenity as the warmth of the sun penetrates your skin in the most sensitive and soft way.

Ease into your surroundings.

Safe.

Sleepy.

Still.

You feel at one with yourself and the beach.

You hear the sea and imagine everything inside of it.

The most wonderful sea creatures.

Swells and white crisp water.

You imagine yourself floating off to a far away island on a raft.

The sea is tranquil and you are carried by the wind to another beach.

The birds follow you there.

Wrapped in your blanket for warm,

The raft delivers you to the beach untouched.

Still warm.

You lie back down on the beach and feel grateful for the sky,

The sea and the unending peace and quiet.

The dusk is falling and you notice that someone has lit a fire for you on the beach to keep you warm.

You move over,

Lie down and wrap yourself in a lovely colourful quilt laid there by your island friends.

Once more you close your eyes and you hear soft music in the distance.

Singing.

Beautiful.

Straight away you feel yourself drifting into sleep.

Relaxed.

Released.

Home.

You inhale deeply and let go.

You feel your edges softening,

Merging,

Floating.

Soothed now,

You notice yourself pleasantly drifting further into sleep.
