Hello and welcome to this short meditation for the heart.
This meditation can be done anywhere.
Perhaps at the end of your day or the beginning.
Perhaps you play it as you commute.
There's no worries about feeling drowsy.
It's a beautiful check-in point for your heart.
I just ask that you place a hand over your heart space,
Over your center.
Perfect.
Now take a deep inhale.
Release a luxurious exhale.
And do that one more time.
Inhale.
Feel your belly,
Your ribs,
Your chest.
And exhale,
Release it all back out into the world.
Attend to your heart.
Bring your awareness to that central space of the chest cavity.
Be with your heart.
And as you continue those deep diaphragmatic breaths,
You'll notice a regulation.
A synchronization between your awareness and your center.
With this internal gaze,
Can you notice the qualities of your heart space?
Is it light or dark?
What are the textures?
Are there any images present?
Allow yourself to receive now,
To note these qualities.
Continue your breath while you take them all in.
Attend to your heart.
And release it all back out into the world.
And with your increased awareness now of this center space,
I invite you to plant a seed in the rich,
Fertile soil of your chest.
This space of hopes and dreams,
Desires and fears.
The center place of you.
The seed I ask you to plant is what do I desire?
A seed of inquiry,
Of curiosity,
And one that invites future exploration.
What do I desire?
The seed that's fertilized every time you attend to your heart.
Every time you flood the chest with a deep inhale and a deeper,
Longer exhale.
Take one with me now.
Inhale,
Filling the belly and the ribs and the chest.
Exhale,
Fertilizing the seed in your heart.
And truly,
Not only honoring,
But fertilizing your heart.
The act of attending to,
Of listening,
The awareness.
What a great tool for your heart,
For growing its strength and allowing it to feel supported at any time.
One last inhale.
One more exhale.
May you use this meditation at any time for any adjustments or callings you feel to attend to your heart space.
I hope it finds you well and that you have a beautiful,
Beautiful day.
