This yoga nidra practice will help you enliven and relax at the same time. Based in the Vedic principle of Agni, or fire, this guided relaxation attunes you to your own inner light, warmth and luminosity. This practice will balance cold, lethargy, heaviness, low motivation or kapha dosha.

You are the one who illumines the world.

The sun does not shine,

Nor does the moon and stars.

Lightning does not shine,

Nor does fire.

You alone shine,

And in your light,

The entire world is illuminated.

Give yourself a long breath in,

And an easy exhale,

And another full breath.

Allow your breathing to find its own easy pace.

And be aware of your whole body.

Your whole body filled with light,

And made of light.

Become aware of your toes.

Be aware of each and every toe,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Bright,

Warm light.

Be aware of both feet,

Both feet filled with light,

And made of light.

Bright,

Warm light.

Be aware of your ankles,

Lower legs,

Knees,

And thighs.

Be aware of both of your legs,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Bright,

Warm light.

Be aware of your hips and hip joints,

Into and through your low belly,

Your whole abdomen,

Into and through your chest,

Collarbones,

And the fronts of your shoulders.

Being aware of the whole front of your torso.

And extend your awareness around the sides of your torso into your back.

Being aware of your low back,

Mid back,

And upper back.

Being aware of your whole back.

Be aware of your whole torso,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Bright,

Warm light.

From your torso,

Notice into your shoulders,

Arms,

And hands.

Be aware of your fingers and thumbs,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Be aware of your hands,

Including the palms of your hands,

The backs of your hands,

And the space inside your hands.

Both hands filled with light,

And made of light.

Notice into your wrists,

Lower arms,

Elbows,

Upper arms,

And into both shoulders.

Be aware of both arms,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Extend your awareness from your shoulders into your neck,

Into the inside of your throat.

Allow your neck and throat to be filled with light,

And made of light.

Notice into your jaw,

Into and through your whole face.

Be aware of your face,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Extend your awareness from your face into the sides of your head,

Into the back of your head,

Into the top of your head.

Being aware of your whole head,

And the space inside your head.

Your whole head,

Filled with light,

And made of light.

Being aware of your whole body,

Your whole body filled with light,

Made of light.

And to be aware of your awareness itself,

Made of only light.

And rest in that.

You are the one who illumines the world.

Beautifully perfect meditation, just what I've been seeking! A suggestion, it cuts off abruptly at end, disturbing a great meditation. Maybe let the music go on a minute or few and end less abruptly? ๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ’–
